Clearwater Motor Lodge

Another fabulous few days at Clearwater! Once again, we chose a room overlooking the lake and had a stunning view of our favourite sunsets. The room was lovely and fresh and clean, and we slept really well as always. Lina and Neil are such welcoming, caring, helpful hosts. We’ll be back again soon!

Got a complimentary upgrade with no extra charge—such a pleasant surprise. The lakefront view was absolutely stunning, and the sound of the waves felt like music to my ears. The whole atmosphere was incredibly. Highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys beautiful lake views and a relaxing vibe.

Right on the lake easy 3 minute drive into the town centre. Fully airconditioned with a spa in room, great for relaxing. No road noise, I found the bed to be a bit hard but the wife thought it was perfect. Very clean and kitchen amenities were great. Shower head and drainage was a bit iffy , gave a good foot wash though. would certainly stay here again

This place needs money and time to update. Aged jacuzzi's in middle of room need removing.

We had a fabulous three nights at Clearwater. We loved being right beside the lake and had a beautiful panoramic view from our unit. The setting was very restful - just what we needed. The Clearwater staff were very friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable, and the shower and in-room spa were great. (Fantastic pressure in the shower!) The motor lodge is only a quick drive (or a nice walk) into town for coffee, shopping, activities and takeaway meals, and we also went down to Rainbow Point for some fantastic fish ‘n’ chips one evening. We booked a two-hour fishing trip with Marty and Stratus and caught six trout, which we had smoked at the local butcher - a brilliant way to end our holiday. Thank you, Clearwater! We’ll be back asap.

Fantastic view's over the lake from room 5, the room was spotlessly clean and had everything required including the spa tub. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Five stars all round.

Good value, good walks on the lake. Parking can be tight. People smoke outside and cigarettes smell polluted the neighboring unit.

Adele was amazing. Thanks. The spa needs some attention. As it did not turn off, it sounded like it was filling up then leaking noises somewhere. It turned off around 7.00 in the morning. Also, maybe a few more pods for the coffee maker.

The room finishings are dated and worn. The only opening window was screwed closed making the room uncomfortably stuffy. The owners are profiting from location demand rather than accommodation quality. Water pressure is excessive with water noise intrusion from surrounding units, also the hot water is not tempered and dangerous hot
