Booked a week away to celebrate my ex wife's birthday, from the minute we entered the hotel until the moment we left neither of us could find real fault...OK, so the food isn't michellin star, but it always seemed fresh and plentiful, and while there could have been some more inspired choices, no one is going to starve...as for the " no table cloth " complaints on here WHY.. Not needed and just another cost to the hotel via way of supply and laundry, those costs would just be added to the cost of your stay, and the way some folk complain about the food, you'd think they are regular Gordon fkin Ramsay's... Pool area was clean and tidy, as was the general air of the hotel...room was serviced daily, with the housekeeper even bothering to fold my discarded shirts bless her... If I had one complaint, and a very minor one..it would be the paper cups at the bar....and that's it...we fancied an extra little treat on our last night so we ventured down near the beach and came across a lovely little Cocktail bar...called Mymzy Beach...the best Pina Coladas ever...and a tidy Long Island iced tea were thoroughly enjoyed.. All in all, this hotel is well run, efficient staff and lovely decor...only built in 2008 it's not run down as some are making out...

The staff are very nice but know very little to no english. The hotel itself would be 4 stars. The matress and duvet feel very popcorn-like. The food is an instant 1 star. There is very little food (maybe like 2 dishes) that i liked. Other than that, the food tastes terrible, doesnt have a non vegan and/or vegetarian version (such as the terribly tasting bacon). The drinks are simply good. The waiters are very kind and do their job very well. They use correctly grammared english and very nice. The technology is not bad but not good. On one of the floors there was no panel to use the elevator, and they are very slow or dont work. The wifi seems to work mainly when people arent using it, which suggests the wifi isnt very good because of the population in the hotel. The hotel itself from the outside looks mind dazzaling. But as i love the work on it, floor 4 has a MISSING WINDOW. MISSING WINDOW. Personally i reckon this is a large safety hazard. Ps. This was written by a 12 year old with a bad experience.

If you’ve already booked and paid, don’t panic! We have been home a week, here’s my honest review: Travelled with husband and our 9 & 7 year old kids. Beautiful weather, absolutely stunning. Big sunny balcony with gorgeous views. Large clean rooms (ask reception for more pillows if needed, they bought them up straight away). Excellent staff and maids cleaning every day. Fantastic water park, we bought a ball and inflatable for the water park as the entertainment at the hotel was non existent. The pool was salt water and fresh, no problems at all. Kids loved the beach, sand, building fortress for tide coming in, collecting tiny weird crabs. All inclusive food ok….kids loved it, fresh meat etc, I am a foody but made the best of it. Hotel pool was lovely and cool, can’t fault it. Favourite time of the day was from 5pm…really quiet, amazing sunshine, cold sangria, wonderful views. In a nut shell, it was a relaxing, sunny, stress free holiday which is exactly what we all needed. It’s all about who you are with, the sunshine, the all inclusive…so no cooking, cleaning or general mundane chores! So kick back and enjoy! Ignore the negativity and live for the moment. We were not ready to come home after 7 days, which says a lot! P.s. I am very well travelled from luxury to 3 star, so this is a very honest mum review!!!! I wish we were still there!

We just returned from a weeks break at this hotel. It was absolutely spot on for what we wanted. A lazy break away with the kids and nothing to think about other than water park or beach! The hotel was clean and well looked after. Rooms were a decent size and balconies gave a good view of the resort. The buffet isn’t of any real quality and the choice isn’t great. We ended up eating out on a couple of occasions for a change. Drinks selection is ok and we didn’t face long waits for drinks at any time. Water park was absolutely fine and the kids thoroughly enjoyed it. If you are a foodie and expect high quality cuisine, don’t book this hotel. If you want to get away from reality and chill out as a family then it’s absolutely adequate.

Lovely hotel and stay. Room was spacious with good beds and shower area. We went all-inclusive but limited options in vegetarian food. This is reason for 4 star or would have given 5. Aqua park is really good. Noise levels are ok in the rooms We easily found parking.

We went as a family of 4 children are 9 & 4 Friendly reception Large clean room Gifted my daughter sweets by surprise on her birthday Loungers around the pool are scarce we managed twice other times we were further back where there are plenty of loungers. Pool itself is deep for children the 9 year old could barely touch the bottom except for the ramp into the pool. Pool wasn’t heated in February (didn’t need to be on the hotter days). Pool isn’t large which is why no large floats. Pool bar was fine lots of drinks and ice cream Bar food not great Food was fine for us as adults plenty of selection daily and always something we could eat. No specified children’s selection so it was a struggle as both my children have food sensory issues (pizza was available every night). They ate mostly rolls, salad and chips all week. This for me was the only downfall of the hotel and the only aspect which would stop me returning with children. My children loved the entertainment arcade, not a lot of space out at entertainment and long queues for drinks usually. Lots of shops usually selling the same stuff and nice bars at the beach. 15 mins in taxi to Puerto Rico usually €12

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Valle Taurito on a full board basis. The hotel is in a great location close to the beach and a short drive away to Puerto Rico and Puerto Mogán. The hotels public areas and guest rooms and kept pristinely clean with a good attention to detail from the maid service. The food on offer although not the best food we’ve eaten, there was plenty to choose from and for the cost of the holiday it was all we could have expected.

We stayed as family of 3, child age 12. Positives: very clean, all areas including pool are spotless and rooms are cleaned to good standard. The rooms are large and spacious, the balcony gives a lovely view. The breakfast was really decent, plenty of choice, fresh fruit, pastries, cereals and cooked options plentiful. Coffee machines offered lots of options as well as hot choc and large selection of cold drinks. The water park was a good addition, just across the road, it is salt water but OK with us. The pool at hotel is fairly small but plenty space and easy to get loungers before 10am. Weather was great too, got up to 30° on our last few days. Close to sea, beach quiet and some great waves for fun (be careful tho with small kids) Negatives:if you are a smoker there is only 2 chairs you can smoke, not pool, hotel, room or balcony so be aware! The pillows were awful, so thick and unbouncy lol. Beds OK but those pillows!!! The pool is freezing... Thought it was heated but clearly not haha. Also no music round the pool or entertainment so v boring! Plus no interaction with any staff, not that they were rude just no crack! The evening entertainment is non existent IN the hotel itself but across road is available But unless you are 8 or under I wouldn't bother, our 12 Yr old wasn't impressed, good for toddlers small kids tho. Lunchtime and dinner was OK but always lukewarm, not brilliant selection either but salad bar good. White wine and beer was nice but no good cocktails incl in AI. All said it was a goodish getaway, I am glad we got a good deal £1500 for 3 of us for a week, if I'd have paid more I would have been disappointed as I've been to much better AI. Plus unless u happy to go to bed early nothing going on for anyone...

Food definitely to be improve. Drinks as a all inclusive option TERRIBLE choice of 3 and totally no Taste. Pool snack or hot dog or burgers nothing special. We had really early flight home 10 minutes before start of breakfast and we did not get anything for our way home even if it was still paid. Family with kids yes but not adults who looking for some fun around. Cleanles nothing to complain ladies on top of everything very nice friendly staff but few small things to be improved
