This place was awesome! This property is on the other side of the large property of Como Castello del Nero. The rooms are actually apartment suites - the rooms were large, spotless and well-stocked, with brand new everything. There is a beautiful pool with views of the Tuscan countryside, about the same size as the pool at Castello del Nero but much, much quieter, most of the time there was no more than one other family using the pool. There is no restaurant on the property (each suite/apartment has a small kitchen) but breakfast is served daily at Castello del Nero or you can find lots of things to eat in town which is minutes away by car. We did go to the Michelin star restaurant at the main hotel which was exquisite, Very easy to drive all around Tuscany to explore the sights and to sample the many wonderful restaurants in the area. Lots of beautiful hiking and running trails all over the property. Would highly recommend!

Amazingly Beautiful! The grounds are well maintained. Bring your walking shoes and go take a wonderful walk! The apartment was lovely. I couple of issues, but repaired right away. We had a lovely cookout and watched sunset. The pool is very nice. The staff and reception were very helpful. Highly recommend. The prices are well worth it. Go drive and see the other villages. So beautiful! Just a breathtaking area of Tuscany.

Beautiful property at a scenic and peaceful location. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which had 2 bathrooms, a real bonus! We appreciated the pool and the deckchairs scattered around the grounds of the property. There were many restaurant choices within 10 min drive from the property.
Things we did not like:
1. We asked reception for towels for the pool and were told to use those in our room. We saw the same receptionist delivering pool towels to another party moments later.
2. We were charged 0.50 EUR per coffee capsule upon checkout. The reception claimed there's a note to inform the guests of this charge. We later found this note placed under the coffee machine. Also, it seems petty to charge for coffee capsules when a free bottle of wine was provided.

We enjoyed our 5 day stay. Had a lovely apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, kitchen, livingroom. The grounds are amazingly beautifully! Pool was lovely.
We only had issues with the water heater. The dishwasher did not work at all and the odd air conditioning unit. It helped keep cool. But, we couldn't close shudders with the tubing and that caused the sun coming in very early in the morning. All our concerns and water heater were repaired quickly. Would definitely recommend

Hier kom ik terug. Mooie en ruime appartementen in een prachtige omgeving en wat een zicht! We hebben genoten van een paar heerlijke dagen in de Chianti streek. Ontbijt was excellent in Het Como hotel - zeer verzorgd en lekker. In de buurt aantal lekkere restaurants waar je ofwel zelf naartoe kan rijden maar we hebben het hotel een taxi laten regelen - heel handig. Aanrader!
