Blue Ridge Studios and Bed & Breakfast

We have just spent the last two nights staying in Kaka. The location is great and very easy to get to. The warm welcome starts as soon as you arrive and Derek and Laura are great hosts . The accommodation was spotless and had everything that we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. The breakfast was amazing and the best choice that we’ve had for a long time - something to suit everyone. There is use of the hot tub and the gardens are lovely and welcoming.it was very quiet and great value for money. We will definitely be back and will be recommending it to everyone we know who’s coming to the South Island.

Sadly we only stayed one night in this beautiful B & B - we wished it had been longer. Laura and Derek are such good hosts and made us feel so welcome as well as providing useful information on the area and where we could eat. Very clean and well appointed, lovely garden and the hot tub was great and a nice treat! Breakfast is delivered to your door and what a breakfast it was - delicious and set us up so well for the rest of the day. Would highly recommend this property

It was a perfect stay. It was clean, a very good bed and a nice shower. The owners were very kind and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was good. Also a good place to stay if you want to go to the Milford Sound.

We were very warmly welcomed by Laura. The room was spacy, nicely furnished and completely equipped. The breakfast which was served in the room was excellent. Every day we could choose from a long list what we wished to have for breakfast. The garden with the birds is beautiful, we liked to there enjoying a glas of wine. We can absolutely recommend Laura's and Derek's Blue Ridge Bed & Breakfast. If possible we would come back any time. ❤️

Beautifully detailed studio room. We stayed in Tui. Great little kitchnette area with goodies. Laura and Derek very friendly and helpful. Breakfast delivered in the morning presented lovely, u pick the night before from many options. Location is not far from main street, we walked in both nights for tea. Quiet area. Thanks Vicki

Te Anau is a great town close the the Fiordland area. The Blue Ridge Studios is a gem of a place to stay within Te Anau. It’s close to the town centre and is very comfortable. The couple who run it obviously care about the service they provide which is excellent. There are some lovely touches, like the breakfast delivered to your room each day and a garden area to relax in after a busy day. Could not recommend this place enough.

We just spent three nights at the Blue Ridge Studios and it definitely exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious and charming and everything was exceptionally clean. The hosts were very friendly and extremely helpful with recommendations. The breakfast that was included offered many choices and was delicious. The entire experience was very positive and if you ever get the chance to stay here we would highly recommend it.

Everything wonderful, delightful hosts that would give as much or as little info as you wish. Comfortable, clean and superb fresh breakfast brought to your room. Short walk to town and lake
