We came here for a two night stop at Te Anau to Milford sounds. Fabulous vintage house with recent renovation and fully equipped kitchen and laundry. We had a wonderful at this villa. It’s easy to get to town centre, around 3-4 mins drive. It’s located in a quiet neighbourhood. We were even able to stargaze just outside the house. I would come back again if I happen to pass by Te Anau.

We had a nice stay here. There is a cozy library with a fireplace and free drinks and snacks for relaxation, the rooms were a bit small but cozy. We were able to do our laundry for free in their facilities.

Good experience overall. Very warm staff. Nice architecture. However, as with most NZ accommodations, poor/no ventilation. It's not unique to this property.

We spent one night, having driven down from Wanaka and intending to continue to the Milford Sound tour the following day. Donna was very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed and were comfortable. The history of the building was fascinating, and the antique decor and trinkets added to the charm. Breakfast the following morning was great- wonderful scrambled eggs. Thank you!

Very interesting house, we were arranged in a carriage, yes, a room converted from a train carriage, very unique. We arrived very late the night before and couldn't find the way to check in. The hotel manager also drove to guide us to check in after work. The next morning, he also prepared a very authentic and delicious homemade breakfast for us. This is the best room I have stayed in during this trip to New Zealand!
