Hotels near Kepler Track, Te Anau

The surrounding environment is wonderful. I think I was comfortable at home. Hotel people are kind. It is hotel which we want to use on the next time.

We came here for a two night stop at Te Anau to Milford sounds. Fabulous vintage house with recent renovation and fully equipped kitchen and laundry. We had a wonderful at this villa. It’s easy to get to town centre, around 3-4 mins drive. It’s located in a quiet neighbourhood. We were even able to stargaze just outside the house. I would come back again if I happen to pass by Te Anau.

The hotel proprietress is enthusiastic and will introduce you to the surrounding area, introduce the main attractions on the way to the fjord park, help us inquire about local traffic conditions, and repeatedly remind us to drive slowly and pay attention to safety. Because she is not hard of hearing, she also took the trouble to write for us to read, which is really great Thanks. The restaurant introduced also has good food and is a popular restaurant in the town. Although we were in time for the 10 o'clock boat time, we were unable to order breakfast from his restaurant that was highly recommended by our friends. Clean, warm, friendly and good location. We stayed in cabin with private bathroom. Shared kitchen facility available and staying at site gives you 10% discount at diner across road. Not fancy but very reasonably priced. Free car park. 5 min walk to lake, restaurants and supermarket.

The location is in Te Aru, there is no lake view to see, it takes about 2 or 3 minutes to walk to the lake, the door just happens to be parking, the open kitchen, the kitchen is a bit like a bar, only the toaster can toast and soak. It is not too convenient to boil water and cook with utensils. There is a wardrobe, but there is a quilt in the wardrobe, and the hangers cannot be taken out. There is no drying rack. The most dissatisfied is the toilet, the washbasin is too short, the hot and cold water is difficult to adjust, and the bending is very uncomfortable, not because I am tall, my height is medium, and then there is only one bathtub, but really how many now Individuals can lie in the bathtub? Most have showers, so you can only stand in the bathtub and shower, and the toilet is in the bathroom next door. To be honest, motels are everywhere in Te Anau. But in high mountain areas, it is not too demanding.

It was a very good Hotel with good location and very good breakfast. Services were good and it had the free Carpark for the customer. CP was high.

Room and the bathroom are very clean and tidy, and staff are very friendly. I had a very comfortable night!
