I visited this area for the first time, and I really liked this hotel. The rooms are good sized and the bed is very comfortable. The windows swing open wide which was nice to bring in the cool evening air. The location is right in the action for the town, and it's across the street from the lake so I had a really nice view from the room. The restaurant is very good, opting to eat there twice for dinner. The breakfast which was included in the room was very good too. The front desk team spoke perfect English which I appreciated and their directions and suggestions were very much appreciated.

The hotel is easy to find and there is free car parking available, although it did take a couple of attempts to find the entrance to the car park. The staff and owners are lovely and speak good English. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable, well appointed and quiet. The restaurant serves very good food at a reasonable price.

Difficult to get to train station from property. A long walk with luggage and no help from the hotel. Taxi was unavailable as we were leaving at 7 am. Lots of noisy traffic.

Hotel has an uninterrupted view of the lake which was why we booked the room. If budget allows make sure book one of the panorama rooms with a balcony. Absolutely stunning view especially with sunset. Check in staffed from three in afternoon. Was not the warmest of welcomes. Having said that no issues when we requested late check-out. Room was large and had recently been furnished. Clean, fresh and comfortable. Nice bathroom with large shower. Ate in restaurant in evening. We went half-board which in retrospect was a mistake for my wife there were limited options for a coeliac on the menu. What we did have was fine however. Good breakfast with plenty of options. Hotel well located for walk along promenade. Plenty of parking.

Perfect lication in Tegernsee. All rooms overlook the beautiful lake. The ferry docks are rights across the street along with the lakefront promenade.

Positiv: Positiv war der Seeblick von unserem Zimmer (mit kleinem Balkon) und vom Restaurant, das mit bodentiefen Panoramafenstern aufwartet. Allerdings führt die Bundesstraße direkt an der Restaurant-Terrasse vorbei. Negativ: Das Bad ist extrem klein (ca. 2 qm); für ein Superior-Doppelzimmer völlig unangemessen. Eine Mini-Dusche, kleines Waschbecken (Handwaschbecken), keine Ablagemöglichkeiten für Badutensilien und zum Abtrocknen nach dem Duschen mussten wir ins Zimmer gehen. Das Bett hat ein „Kopfteil“ das mit Teppich bezogen ist - extrem unhygienisch. Der Fernseher war völlig „verstellt“, so dass nur ein Sender (Programm) zur Verfügung stand. Die Rezeption ist ab 21 Uhr geschlossen. Das Balkongeländer war von Vögeln verkotet. Restaurant: Vier Personen mit vier großen Hunden haben zeitgleich das Restaurant betreten. Am Tisch haben sich diese Tiere geschüttelt; bei Nässe draußen kein schönes Erlebnis, wenn man zudem bei seinem Abendessen sitzt. Als ein weiterer Hund das Lokal betrat, ging ein lautes „Gebelle", wildes "Geschrei" und „Gezerre“ los. Schlechtes Essen (die „Rösti“ waren schwarz verbrannt) ruinierten diesen Abend endgültig.
