Villa Brown Tel-Aviv, a Member of Brown Hotels

The hotel is located right next to private residences, yet the management shows no regard for its long-term, tax-paying neighbors. For starters, they installed Jacuzzis outside the ground-floor rooms, so neighboring residents are subjected to noise and unwelcome views of all the “goings-on", and if you say anything they just stonewall you. During the war, the hotel has been left deserted with the gates unlocked. On two occasions, a mentally unstable individual entered the back terrace and camped there, making noise all night amidst war sirens. When I called the hotel management to complain, they assured me they would handle it—but several follow-up calls later, nothing was done. I ultimately had to call the police to remove him. Three weeks later, he returned, and again the police had to intervene because the hotel failed to secure its premises. Perhaps you have had positive experiences staying there, but from a neighbor's perspective, this hotel operates like a seedy, poorly managed establishment.

Great hotel with fantastic service and location I have only good things to say about this hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to the beach, public transportation, stores and restaurants. The room is in a good condition. There is a rooftop if you want to relax away from the beach and there is space to work in and around the lobby for those on business trips.

Bed was comfortable, staff were very friendly. Rooms are small but good for one person. Bathroom isn’t great…not the cleanest and the shower is not separated from the rest of the bathroom at all. This is different from the pictures on the site. When you shower, the toilet and everything else gets wet.

Chose the Villa Brown as a home base for 10 days while visiting Israel. Excellent value for the money. Great location. Great breakfast. The entire staff is just great. Very accommodating and helpful. Would highly recommend.

It was the first time I stayed at the Villa Brown. Loved my room - small, but everything one needs and more. Beautifully decorated with an eye for detail. 24 hour reception and the staff was friendly, appraochable and always happy to help. Despite it being situated on a busy road, I personally can’t complain about that. Close to the beach and everything else, too.

I liked that my room had a partial view of the Mediterranean Sea. I liked that the hotel is a converted villa. I asked for a room away from the main road, Yarkon St., but such a room wasn't available. I was woken up a few times at night by honking, and trucks, buses, and motorcycles accelerating. Tel Aviv prides itself as being a 'city that never sleeps,' and this translates into vehicular traffic throughout the night. The villa is only three stories, and about half of the rooms are facing the main road. If you are a heavy sleeper, if shouldn't be an issue. If you are a light sleeper, and you staying in the half of the building facing the street, you may hear the noise, even with the air conditioner on. That was my experience. I share this in the spirit of caveat emptor-- let the buyer beware.

Beautiful little gem with excellent service and very well appointed. I pack light so lack of elevator was not an issue for me. The place has unique boutique feel to it, very different from anything in that neighbourhood I feel. Highly recommended for couples and solo travel

very friendly staff day and night, they know what you might desire before your thoughts are spoken. And the breakfast is quite delicious and the best starter before getting into the vibrant city life. I'll always come back to that place when going to TelAviv.
