The location deserves 5 stars and the reason for my second time staying here. The room itself was OK, obviously the lodging is affordable by ski resort standards but at $350 a night, i wish the rooms would be cleaned a bit more thoroughly On both my visits here I found the furniture very dusty, random strands of hair from previous guests strewn about and a grimy and not very clean shower stall. And the carpet should certainly get one thorough steam cleaning. It was extremely dirty, dusty and stained. But again the location is unbeatable.

This might be the best value in town. The location was great. Essentially ski in/ ski out as it's right across a parking lot from lift 7 and just a 7-minute walk to the gondola. Although the inn shows some age the room was clean and had some visible updates. The kitchenette provided was nice, which we used for breakfast and to stock up on snacks. The grocery store in town is just about a 7-minute walk from the inn. There was no housekeeping during our stay, but we were able to restock our towels, garbage bags, etc... at the office whenever needed when they were open 9am-evening, which worked out fine for us. The two hot tubs they had were nice after long days of skiing and the staff were super nice and helpful. Would recommend if you are looking for an affordable place in Telluride. It was a fraction of the price compared to other hotels in town and didn't feel we sacrificed quality.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that this is the same place I stayed with my late husband in 2017. Very convenient to town and the bus stop. It was clean and comfortable. Parking was supposed to be included but for some reason, parking spaces were overbooked so that was frustrating.

Stevie helped us when we first checked in. She was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to accommodate us. My sister and I were in a small room with a twin and a queen. We felt like we were right on top of each other. We called Stevie and she came and showed us a 1 bedroom with a pullout couch. I tried the pullout and it was actually comfortable. The new room was significantly roomier with a full kitchen. We changed rooms and Stevie even helped us move our things to another room. This place is clean and the one bedroom is very roomy and worth the extra money. When we booked our room the guy who helped us was also very nice and accommodating. Then with checking into the hotel and Stevie helping us with an easy check in, helping us carry our things and changing rooms was pretty amazing. . These employees genuinely like their jobs and it shows with their positive, helpful attitudes.

We were in town for Telluride Bluegrass 50th celebration. We have attended several times and have stayed at a variety of places without issue. The initial emails for check in differed between our party and the party we were traveling with as well as differing from email and text message. Upon arriving in the evening, we parked in the designated lot described in our email and text message and in the morning checked in with the staff to ensure that we were parked appropriately. We placed our hangtag/ sticker in our window and went along enjoying our weekend. At the end of the weekend we found that we had been ticketed (along with a couple other families). We went to the front desk and informed them of the issue and were informed this would be taken care of. I have personally called 4 separate times and emailed 2 times to get this issue resolved. The last call made was to speak directly to the manager/owner who appeared overwhelmed, annoyed, and almost hostile towards us and our request for the ticket to be taken care or covered by Mountainside Inn. He stated specifically in an elevated voice that he "WOULD FOLLOW UP WITH US". We ended the call feeling unheard and not valued or appreciated that we were trying to get the issue resolved. Here we are 10 full business days after this last call and I have not received any sort of follow up call or email from the manger/owner. I called yesterday and was told he was not in but my message would be passed on. Still no call back. Being out of state, I am now having to continue to deal with this issue myself instead of the business and its staff taking any ownership or responsibility for their lack of clear communication around the initial parking expectations and the subsequent ticketing of our car. I will not be staying at this establishment in the future and I would encourage anyone that plans to stay to be very through with communication on parking and not have a lot of expectations for management to treat guests with courtesy or concern.

As stated, everyone was really nice and accommodating. The location of this residence is in a great place and very convenient to most places in Telluride. This is where the good parts end. We checked into our room and discovered some of the nastiest bedding I've ever seen. Large stains were visible on multiple sheets including the bed spread. We called the front desk to ask them to have someone come change the sheets. An hour later Mr Pete arrived and changed our sheets only to find that the sheets he brought were just as nasty. At this point we had no choice but to walk to the grocery store and buy detergent and bleach. After wasting an hour of our time and close to $20 we were able to wash the sheets in the common laundry room ourselves and what do you know there were no more stains. We also ended up washing the towels as well as they were just as bad. The room itself could use a serious renovation as the carpet was full on brown from the dirt and caked in mud. There was also a bit of mold growing in several areas of the bathroom. The pictures definitely do not look like the actual room. At over $200/night I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Definitely not worth it.

Great hotel in Telluride. It is basic but clean. The location is perfect to discover downtown and walking to the gondola is a short beautiful walk down a path by the creek. Parking was fine. No breakfast so either one makes breakfast in ones suite or restaurants are very close. Next time in Telluride for fall colors we will diffently stay here again.

Rooms are basic, clean, spacious, and well maintained. Parking stinks. Coffee in the office is great but you have to wait till 9 till it opens. Staff is very nice. Price is inexpensive for the area. Would I stay again? Maybe but I'd prefer a slight more upscale experience.

Honestly, If you're looking to stay in Telluride I would recommend going elsewhere unless this is your last option. One of the only plus's in this experience was the allowance of a pet. Checking in after hours is painful. They didn't send the information until 6:45PM of the check in day and service going into Telluride is poor. As for the room, it was comical that there wasn't even a fitted sheet for the bed. Just a top sheet. Paying 600$ for two days is pretty steep for what you get. Also, if anything isn't right with your room the management is not super accommodating and pretty curt with the attitude of "it is what it is". If you're spending money to visit this beautiful place, have it go towards a nicer place and have a better experience than we did.
