Amazing hotel that provides amazing acidic spring water onsen. You can see Mt Io too, which is where the heat for the spring water came from.

The price is very reasonable, and there's even a private hot spring. However, I didn't expect the hot spring to be so acidic, with a pH close to 1.7, so I wouldn't recommend soaking for too long. Although it's not close to the station, thankfully there are buses available.

The room was clean, and although the hot spring bath wasn't large, it was very nice. Also, we had breakfast included, and while it wasn't a luxurious breakfast, it was very tasty.

The breakfast was very basic and unappetizing. When booking the hotel, I didn't see "bathroom" listed, and it turns out there really wasn't one. Couldn't they have clearly stated this on the homepage? The pictures weren't very helpful, the description was extremely vague, and booking a room was quite a hassle. The price was high, and the value for money was extremely low. I wouldn't recommend staying there.

The hotel doesn't have air conditioning, but they provide a fan. The room is very spacious but quite old. There's a foot onsen near the hotel.

Great place, very cozy town There is no food in winter, but there is a great sushi restaurant nearby The room is very spacious, but unfortunately there is no separate bathtub. However, the Kawayu hot spring is very unique and I highly recommend it.
