Extremely lovely place with very good amenities & good location! Lots of food nearby as well. One of the best breakfast we had in Japan! Rooms were big n spacious too, highly recommended!

Love this place, apparently the breakfast buffet won some award! Of course, since it is free flow sashimi and much more. A lot of locals with only a handful foreigners but no problems if you don’t speak Japanese. There is outdoor onsen which is so cool.

After checking out, we wanted to go to the bar just for a glass of water. A female staff member very rudely stopped us, saying that the bar was only for guests who had checked in and that we couldn't enter after checking out. I understand that this is the hotel's policy, and we got out immediately after being stopped. However, the attitude of this staff member was very unfriendly. As foreigners, we are not familiar with every rule in Japan, and her demeanor made us feel very uncomfortable. Moreover, her exact words were, “あなたはもうチェックアウトしてるでしょ、ここはチェックインしてるお客様しか使えない,” which implies that once I've checked out, I'm no longer a guest. She referred to me as あなた, and although my Japanese is not perfect, I am well aware that this term is considered quite impolite in Japanese.

When I first checked into the hotel, I felt a sulfur smell. If you are sensitive to smells, be careful. The room is a bit old. The highlight of the hotel is the dinner, which is full of seafood, sashimi, sweet shrimp, long-legged crabs are free

Although the hotel is not new and the rooms are not big, the food is great! It was a bit unexpected. The hotel has a free lounge area above the hot spring, which provides some drinks and biscuits in the evening. The room has a satisfying sulfur smell, but the hot spring does not have much sulfur smell, which is also quite strange. In short, the food is good and cost-effective!

The room was a pleasant surprise, so big and beautiful, the children played hide-and-seek, I didn't expect to stay in such a hotel in such a quiet town. The hotel's hot spring was a little dark and a little old.

The room size is OK, the hot spring and room facilities are a bit old, you must remember to get room towels when you go to the hot spring, the hot spring does not provide towels, or ask the front desk, which is a bit different from Atami Izu. The breakfast and dinner are very good, and the hotel also provides free drinks during non-meal time. Be sure to book a night and two meals, there is nothing to eat nearby, remember!

The hotel is in a great location, right on the hot springs street, close to a convenience store. Across from the hotel are a grilled lamb restaurant and a soup curry restaurant (the latter serves as a bar at night). However, the hot spring facilities are significantly inferior to those at the main hotel. While it has a sauna and is located directly at the source of the Kawayu Onsen, the men's open-air bath water feels stagnant. After 20 minutes in, there's no sound of running water. The lobby and amenities are clearly better than those at the main hotel, as are the rooms with air conditioning, which the main hotel lacks. However, the open-air bath was a bit disappointing.

The first stop of the Hokkaido trip, I stayed here to see the swans. It was almost seven o'clock when I arrived at the town of Yukawa Onsen. I took the Akan bus at the train station to the town. Note that if you get off at the post office, it is not this one directly opposite! It is an old store. Ours is a annex, and it is closest to the Sumo Museum. The annex is very stylish. I wandered around the town when I got lost. I looked at several hot spring hotels, and Honeysuckle Annex is one of the best in the town. The dinner buffet, seafood and sashimi content are OK. The price is not low, it depends on your choice. I praise the young man at the front desk, who has a good attitude, is very enthusiastic, and responds to every request. He helped me book a taxi and helped me contact the activity company that I had booked. There is also a small shop opposite that has delicious pork rice.

The hotel is located near the bus terminal. The room facilities are a bit outdated and overall it is clean. The outdoor hot spring is small. There are very few things to do nearby during non-tourist seasons, and related supporting facilities are lacking, so careful consideration is needed.
