Our stay at Hotel Druck Thimphu was nothing short of excellent. Situated in the heart of the city, it offered convenience without compromising on serenity, boasting a picturesque hilly view from our room. Great hotel in Thimphu. Directly situated at the main square downtown with nice coffees and shops around. Nice restaurant and a beautiful bar, great food, friendly staff. We could always recommend and We would come back.

Right in the heart of town this is a large and modern hotel with all the amenities of a high class place. The room was excellent with a very comfortable bed and the room had excellent facilities. They have a small, cosey bar just off the dining room where the food is excellent. We were warned not to expect too much from hotels in Bhutan but this place made a lie of that warning, it would hold its own in any country and beat a lot of them. One slight ******, there were dogs barking in the square quite a lot of the night but that's not something the hotel can control as they are strays.

I was with a group there for the Thimpu Festival. Very nice hotel located in the city center. Staff extremely kind and helpful. Good food for breakfast and dinner. Clean, comfortable and wide rooms. It was a really nice stay. Suggested!!!

Very enjoyable stay. Good hotel. The staff were excellent and the food quite good. The location is at the centre of Thimpu which enabled us to access the cafesa and restaurants that are in the area. It was a good experience

Rooms are large. The bathroom has a shower room and a bathtub. The only issue is the running water in Bhutan does not come clear all the time (most of the time while I was there it was a bit brown), hence it is not very tempting to have a bath. There is a turn down service in the evening and they leave chocolates which was a nice gesture. Breakfast is okay, they could do with more continental options; however, the hotel was fairly empty while I was there and I guess there is no point to throw food away. They organised a trip to the Tiger Nest for me which was very good. All in all is a very good hotel.

Plum at the centre of Thimphu's happening district, Druk hotel had very friendly and helpful staff who were there whenever we needed them - be it to refill the drinking water or to take care of any minor issues we faced. The rooms were extremely comfortable and spacious. The restaurant staff was happy to guide us when we asked to eat some local cuisine the first night we arrived, and food was very tasty too. The location made it very easy for us to move around and explore some nice places on foot. Highly recommended if you have a stay in Thimphu

We stayed in Druk Hotel, it's in the center of Thimphu nearby the clock tower. It's the traditional 1st hotel in the city. The weather was pleasant it's May but we still worked on 2 jackets as it was super cold. *Ugyen* from the hotel helped a lot with all the requirements we had. The entire team was helpful and quick in action. Would love to visit again with the family.

Wonderful Hotel . Beautiful Rooms with lovely woodwork ; (we even got a room large enough to accommodate 3 beds very very comfortably). Clean Linen , and Toilets, with 24 hour hot water ; an absolute necessity for us (brought up in the Mumbai heat) , even in the summer months in Bhutan. Excellent food with a wide variety of cuisines in the buffet (breakfast & dinner) to suit every taste. Lovely Indian food in plenty, as also a wide vegetarian selection. Best of all, the staff are always ready to rustle up some food for you (at no extra cost) if there is something you fancy and its not there in the buffet (we requested for some local cuisine like momos and ema datshi). There is a well stocked bar with an ever- smiling barman. The staff in the hotel are excellent . Always ready to help you with a smile. We always looked forward to coming back to the hotel , after a long day of sight-seeing. We were really happy to stay here.... and would definitely come again. Thank You Druk Hotel...!!!
