Echo Suites Richmond West - Extended Stay by Wyndham

Extremely friendly. Always nice and willing to help. Very clean. Feels tidally safe.

Stayed here over 13 nights . Good value for money accommodation, with good cooking facilities in room ( have to hire kitchen equipment from hotel) . Pleasant front of house staff.

Room was clean, staff was friendly. Unfortunately a few little glitches with facility. The TV remote didn't have batteries, and we were grateful they brought them right away. However, the TV ended up not working, as they couldn't get signal. Even with staffer checking the system, we were unable to get any service. And, although they offer free coffee in the AM...they had no cups. We were told the cups were on order, and if we had our own cup, we could get coffee.

Room was nice and clean. Amenities were pleasant. Location was convenient.

This is my third time staying and this time it was not the best. The elevator only worked going down and not up. It also has not been inspected. I have a picture of the certificate showing no dates or signatures. They ran out of toilet tissue and I had to go get some and they had no keys. I had to download an app to get in my room. That took a minute because I didn’t have a good signal. I told the young man that someone was trying to go up the elevator and he didn’t make a move.

First off, I arrived at the hotel I was booked for, only to find out my reservations were move to another hotel because they overbook me. I arrive at the sister hotel, they had two rooms for me to choose from, room 222 and 214. After several attempts, I could not get access to room 214 so I proceeded to room 222 and this room was a mess, the bathroom had a huge patch of black mold above the shower, the lights did not work and it wreak of cigarette smoke, the room was clearly under construction or needed to be. Finally, after several attempts from the front desk we were able to get into the room 214. The room was not much better, the bathroom was recently under construction, the bathroom door was broken and could not shut all the way. The shower head and bathtub were covered with plaster dust, the toilet seat held on by one screw. TV remote broken, fix by scotch tape. I could go on to include no soap or shampoo in the room, dirty towels with stains on them, asked for new ones and it took forever to get them. This was not a good experience, and I was stuck due to the time of night and other hotels being full. I sent an email to *******, but I got no response. Needless to say I will never book with ******* again, nor will I ever stay at a ECO Suites again.

The hotel was very convenient. All of the staff were very nice. Elevator was broke the entire time we were there. The room was nice, but every time you took a step or sit down on the bed it echoed throughout the hotel and the rooms around you would complain. The entire hotel smelt like an Indian restaurant. As soon as you walked into the front desk it smelt like that they were cooking food on a flat top in the back. I had to buy air freshener for our room because the smell made our stay irrelevant. Again, the hotel was nice. But they did make sure at 10:45 AM to bang on your door and tell you your day was over.

I spent nearly 7 weeks staying here and had a very pleasant experience! I’m not sure what year the hotel was built but it is very well maintained and comfortable. For those of you that travel for work, you understand that the staff can really change the game on your stay. From the second I walked into Echo Suites to the day I turned my key in at checkout, the staff were rockstars!!!! Spacious room! Comfortable bed! Amazing staff! If I’m ever back in the Richmond area, Echo Suites will be my first stop!

This is a no frills clean comfortable room. We had made a reservation for a room with two beds, it it was late when we arrived and they put us up in two single rooms w/o giving us a hard time or charging us anymmore money. This is a great location convinieny to Dominion CC and next to the shopping area.
