Tired of the urban jungle, I yearned for a getaway to the mountains. So, I drove over a hundred kilometers to Ji County's Zuowang Mountain Resort, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations – a definite five-star review! This isn't your average B&B; the resort is expansive and built into the mountainside, with picturesque views at every turn. The facilities are comprehensive, featuring two koi ponds and an Instagram-worthy infinity pool that really sets the mood. Multiple viewing platforms at various heights offer progressively stunning vistas. Outdoors, the natural mountain scenery is breathtaking, offering expansive views of the village and countryside. The in-room amenities were a delightful surprise: a Mousse mattress ensuring a soft and comfortable sleep, Bulgari toiletries with a sophisticated and elegant scent, and even a Marshall speaker. Every detail exuded quality. It's a perfect blend of natural mountain ambiance and modern, luxurious facilities, balancing scenery, comfort, and quality. The food also completely surpassed my expectations. The freshly made flatbread for breakfast was crispy and delicious, and the à la carte home-style dishes were authentic and flavorful. It's the perfect place to completely unwind and destress from city life. Spending two days a month here, immersing myself in the fresh air and relaxation, is incredibly blissful. And a big thank you to the owner for the complimentary hawthorn snack souvenir – it was soft, fresh, and tastier than even Jinye or Yida!

I felt relaxed the moment I entered the Dean's house. The room was very clean and spacious, and the overall style was very stylish. It looked beautiful in any photo. I arrived at noon, and the boss said let's eat first. I felt like I was home. The overall experience was very good. I also had to try the wine mixed by the boss, as well as the stewed carp. I went to relax with my friend's family on the weekend. This homestay really surprised us. The environment is beautiful and very stylish. All three meals are delicious, especially the breakfast. The rooms I booked are family rooms and twin rooms, which feel pretty good. The surrounding environment is just for leisure in the mountains, and there are no attractions. But it is suitable for relaxing during the holidays. The service is very good, especially the three meals a day, which are reasonably matched, rich in variety, and taste super good, which makes people very satisfied. It is delicious. The boss is also very nice. It is a homestay worth sharing and recommending.

The hotel is located in the valley. It takes 10 minutes to drive the national highway + 10 minutes to drive the village road + 10 minutes to drive the mountain road after getting off the highway. There is an open space opposite the entrance for parking. The room is OK, but the disadvantage is that the bathtub is placed in the bedroom, which is a bit damp and smelly. There is only one chair in the room, no place to sit, and the table is relatively small. There is no place to put the bag, and the kettle is placed on the windowsill. The terrace tea break and welcome fruit are as shown in the picture, which is a bit shabby. The air conditioner is noisy, it is an electric curtain, and the projection lumen is not enough. You need to close the curtain and turn off all the lights to see clearly. The meal package I bought is OK, the dishes are good, and the taste is good, but it is basically different from the Ctrip mark. It is no problem to eat well. The cave soup spring is to heat the groundwater and put it in a small pool. The conditions are average. If you mind hygiene, choose carefully. There is no place to eat around the hotel. It is recommended to buy a package with three meals. There are several similar homestays around, which are slightly cheaper than this one. You can try more.

The B&B has a beautiful environment. You can lie on the bed and look at the mountains and forget all your worries. The service is very enthusiastic. The meals are a combination of meat and vegetables and taste particularly good. The most important thing is that there is a hot spring now. You can soak in the big pool. When there are not many people, it is basically a private place. The hot spring water is all pumped up from the well by the boss himself. When you come to soak in the hot spring in winter, you feel like you own the whole world the moment you get in the water. Then play some music... You really enjoy the comfort and quietness at the moment. In short, although I chose this B&B based on the ratings, you will know it is really worth it when you come here!
