Hyatt Centric Tianjin Nanzhan | The Ideal Choice for Business and Leisure, a Truly Exceptional Experience! For my trip to Tianjin, I chose the Hyatt Centric Tianjin Nanzhan, and the entire experience was absolutely perfect. It's incredibly suitable for both business travel and leisure, and has officially made it onto my 'Must-Stay Hotels in Tianjin' list. I highly recommend it to everyone! 🌟 Excellent Location, Hassle-Free Travel The hotel's location is truly unbeatable. Right next to Tianjin South Railway Station, it's just a 5-minute walk to both the high-speed rail and metro stations. This is incredibly convenient for high-speed rail travelers – you arrive right at the hotel without having to lug your luggage far. The surrounding amenities are also excellent, with a shopping mall and restaurants nearby, making daily shopping and dining very easy. For those driving, there's no need to worry; the hotel offers free private parking with plenty of spaces, including EV charging stations, making parking super stress-free. ✨ Elegant and Modern Design, Comfortable and Smart Rooms The hotel was newly renovated in 2024. The overall style is modern and minimalist yet warm and inviting. The lobby is spacious and bright, with an impressive design that exudes sophistication. Guest rooms are located on floors 20-29, each equipped with extra-large panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. High-floor rooms offer stunning city views, expansive during the day and glittering with lights at night – perfect for Instagram-worthy photos. My room was spacious (around 45㎡), well-laid out, with excellent natural light and ventilation. The bedding featured a luxurious sleep mattress, just the right softness, providing instant relaxation and greatly enhancing sleep quality. The room facilities were comprehensive: a TOTO smart toilet, a huge independent bathtub perfect for a relaxing soak; also a smart room control system, a Laifen hairdryer, and a handheld garment steamer, showing great attention to detail. The mini-bar drinks were complimentary, offering coffee, milk, Coke, and juice – very thoughtful. What impressed me most was the excellent soundproofing; I couldn't hear any high-speed rail noise at all, ensuring a quiet, private, and restful stay. 🍽️ Rich and Delicious Breakfast, a Feast for the Palate The hotel's breakfast is a buffet, with a rich variety of Chinese and Western options, catering to different tastes. The Chinese selection included Tianjin's signature freshly made Jianbing Guozi, Goubuli baozi, old tofu, and wontons – authentic and delicious. The Western spread featured bread, cakes, salads, freshly ground coffee, and fresh juices – all exquisite and fresh. The breakfast area was spacious, bright, clean, and tidy, offering a very comfortable dining environment. The operating hours are also very accommodating, extending until 10:30 AM on weekends, allowing even late risers to enjoy it leisurely. 🏊 Top-Notch Recreational Facilities, Super Relaxing The recreational area on the 19th floor offers breathtaking high-altitude views! The fitness center is equipped with a full set of LifeFitness premium equipment, including cardio and strength machines, as well as separate spin bikes and a Pilates area – perfect for fitness enthusiasts to work out. Next to it is a 25-meter indoor heated swimming pool, with a constant water temperature of 28℃ and crystal-clear water. It's quiet and uncrowded, making for a wonderfully comfortable swim. There are also dry and wet saunas, perfect for relaxing and de-stressing after a workout. 💁 Meticulous and Thoughtful Service, a Warm and Welcoming Stay From check-in to check-out, the service throughout was incredibly warm and welcoming. Especially Silvia, who was professional, enthusiastic, efficient, and attentive. Check-in was quick and seamless, and she patiently introduced the hotel facilities and local tips. Daily service responses were prompt, and a robot could deliver items to the room, which was convenient and fast. Everyone was polite, friendly, and quick to assist with any needs, reflecting Hyatt's high-quality hospitality in every detail. 🌟 Summary: Excellent Value for Money, Worth Unlimited Returns Overall, the Hyatt Centric Tianjin Nanzhan is a high-quality hotel with an excellent location, sophisticated design, comfortable rooms, complete facilities, and thoughtful service. It's an excellent choice for business trips, weekend getaways, or a visit to Tianjin. The experience is on par with premium hotels in first-tier cities, offering exceptional value for money. I've already recommended this hotel to my friends, and I'll definitely choose it again on my next visit to Tianjin! It's truly worth experiencing, and you won't be disappointed.

The facilities are excellent, including a well-equipped gym and a rich breakfast. However, the service experience was terrible. On the evening of May 16th, when checking in, we were given a voucher for the lounge next door. Our two-bedroom suite didn't come with any other special benefits, so I'm not sure if this voucher was specifically for our room type or if everyone gets one. It said we could enjoy complimentary cocktails and other drinks. Since there were two of us, we both went to the lounge. When we sat down to choose drinks, we were informed that the voucher only covered one person, and if the second person sat down, they had to make a mandatory purchase, otherwise, they couldn't stay and had to leave. I didn't want to argue with your staff at that point, so we just left directly. I told them to keep the voucher; I wasn't going to drink. I won't overly criticize the lounge staff; they're just following your rules. But your Hyatt Centric policies are truly infuriating. The front desk staff clearly saw there were two of us checking in but gave us only one voucher without explaining that it was only for one person and that additional guests would be forced to pay. It was incredibly uncomfortable and embarrassing to be forced into an extra purchase once at the lounge. I don't know if your hotel is unaware of this rule or if you intentionally do this to force consumers to spend more. This is not the service expected from a five-star hotel. Please clearly explain such terms during check-in. I suggest the hotel learn from other excellent hotels. Moreover, I was staying in a suite and had no special benefits. For over 1000 yuan a night in a location like the South Station, such a terrible lounge service is unacceptable. I will not be returning to this Hyatt Centric again. Everything I've stated above is true and not exaggerated in any way. This is the worst experience I've had at any Hyatt hotel across the country.

The hotel boasts a great environment and an excellent location, just a five-minute walk from the South Station. The front desk staff, especially Silvia, were incredibly warm and thoughtful, making me feel right at home. They really went out of their way to consider the guests' needs. I had a very satisfying stay! This hotel truly made me feel the warmth of home, with comfortable beds, considerate amenities, and meticulous service. It's an ideal choice for both business trips and leisure travel.

Very satisfied! It's quite close to the South Station, and transportation is convenient. A taxi to the city center only takes a little over half an hour. There's also Metro Line 3 nearby, just a 5-7 minute walk. Pretty good! The best part is they didn't raise prices for the May Day holiday, haha!

The room environment was good and quiet. However, both pillows were uncomfortable – one was too hard and the other too soft. Also, the shower water was only lukewarm at night, which was a bit cold, though the water temperature was fine in the morning.

This JdV by Hyatt property is quite rare as a lifestyle brand targeting younger guests, and from what I recall, it's one of only two in mainland China. The hotel is conveniently located directly opposite the South Railway Station and is part of a cluster of three hotels owned by the same proprietor. As the birthplace of the first Hyatt hotel in mainland China, Hyatt's journey in Tianjin has been quite eventful. After the closure of Tianjin First Hotel (Hyatt), they opened Hyatt Regency Tianjin East and Hyatt Regency Tianjin Jingjin City. The latter was that massive 'ghost city' castle and has since been rebranded as Wyndham Grand. Besides JdV, there are also two UrCove properties. I hope Tianjin will eventually get a proper Grand Hyatt or Park Hyatt. The hotel rooms have a unique, youthful vibe, with a standard layout. The most delightful amenity in the room is the 'Forest Oxygen Bar' device from Airscape, which is incredibly beneficial for those with sensitive skin or rhinitis. The hotel bar, The Lobby Lounge, is a major highlight and has received rave reviews online. It's definitely worth checking out if you're interested.

The front desk staff, particularly Loda, provided excellent service.

Having stayed at many high-end hotels, Catharine's service still truly stood out to me. She was gentle, attentive, and incredibly responsive, making for an excellent experience.

The room was very clean, had a great view, and was well-equipped. I'll definitely come again.
