We checked in at the "Somerset Olympic Tower", late Saturday night. This, as another branded hotel, disappointed us greatly, due to basic facilities not being available (we checked out). Upon arrival at the Somerset Olympic Tower, we were warmly received, by the front of house. Special thanks to "Avery", for her hospitality and for making us feel right at home, much appreciated. Note: Check in and check out, was effortless and prompt, the way it should be. Thank you. Our suite was exceptionally well equipped. A well layed out kitchen, with major (Fridge, Washing Machine) and minor appliances (Microwave) as well as cutlery and crockery. (Everything you need, for a long or short stay). The dining room had a table and chair set, suitable for family or friends. We enjoyed the lounge area as well, the sofa was comfortable and the area is well organised. There is an office area as well, should you require the use of a desk. The bedroom has a on suite bathroom, equiped with a bathtub / shower combination. We found the bed to be comfortable, with quality bedding on it. The suite has numerous windows, with clear city views. Breakfast (buffet) was excellent, with a great selection (Western and Chinese Style). The facilities are on international standard. Guests can enjoy a fully equiped professional gymnasium, and a heated swimming pool during their stay. Overall we were extremly satisfied with the service received, the facilities and the meals. We look forward to visiting the "Somerset Olympic Tower" often, and in the near future.
