Tianjin Golden Crown Hotel

You wouldn't believe this is a five-star hotel. I chose an apartment room, and all the facilities felt like they were stuck 20 years in the past. The sofa was sunken, the wooden door was peeling, the showerhead spluttered water, the air conditioning wouldn't turn off, the room was dingy, and the lighting was dim [awkward][awkward][awkward]. The shower water was only around 30℃, feeling cool on your head! The air conditioning that wouldn't turn off led to our family of three all catching colds 🤧🤧 upon returning to Beijing. The only decent things were the free parking and the breakfast, which was okay. I rarely leave bad reviews, but this was truly terrible for a five-star hotel.

I booked a room at this hotel for my child's high school entrance exam, and it was perfectly located, just a few hundred meters walk from the school. The parking was very convenient, and the service at this five-star hotel was excellent. One evening, as I was carrying some clothes, the lobby manager approached me and offered a bag, saying it would be more convenient. The parking attendant, noticing my child was there for an exam, went out of his way to guide me and help me find a parking spot. The service was really good, and the staff's attitude was also commendable. The hotel's facilities, bedding, toiletries, and the view were all great too.

Centrally located with convenient transportation and ample parking. The hotel management is well-organized, proactive, and professional, promptly addressing guests' needs. We felt right at home, making it a very pleasant stay.

My stay at Tianjin Imperial Hotel was great. The environment was lovely, and the cleaning staff were very diligent. It was my first time seeing a water purifier in the room, and the disposable toilet seat covers were a thoughtful touch – very user-friendly! The service was excellent. The hotel is close to the subway and bus stops, making transportation very convenient. There are many shopping malls nearby, including a food street. Plus, next to Xiaobailou, there's a restaurant called Kiessling Western Restaurant with really delicious Western food. Overall, it was a good experience.

This hotel is surrounded by many attractions. The Wudadao area, Haihe River, and Zhangyuan Garden are all nearby. Food Street and Ancient Culture Street are also not far, and it's very convenient to get there by taxi. The location is excellent, and transportation is very convenient. The front desk staff, Xiao Fan, was very welcoming and provided great service, even seeing me off from the hotel.

Beneath its lavish exterior lies a somewhat rigid, business-like atmosphere, and the facilities are noticeably outdated. The lobby is grand but bustling with people, and the service, while precise, feels impersonal and distant. The location is excellent, which I suppose is the hallmark of an older five-star hotel – its strengths and weaknesses are equally prominent. You're paying for the prime location, not the charm.

This was my first time using Trip.com Corporate Travel, and I booked this familiar hotel. The service was consistent as always – they upgraded my room, and it was clean and quiet, just as I've come to expect.
