The hotel itself was very clean and modern. We enjoyed our stay, but I have to note that we only stayed there for one night and barely spent time in our room. The staff were very kind; they tried to help us however they could. They didn't really speak English, but that wasn't a big issue, as in China all the people are used to using translator apps, since hardly anyone speaks English. So if you're a traveler from abroad, you'll get used to it too.
I have to mention two things that were a little bit annoying. Firstly, the only way down from our rooms was the lift (there was a staircase with a sign that suggested it's only for emergency situations and we shouldn't open the door), and to use the lift, guests need their room card. The problem is that they gave us one card, and that card is also needed to enable the electrical devices in the room (such as lamps). So, essentially, if only one of us wanted to go out, the other person ended up just sitting in a dark, warm room. The other annoying thing is less to do with the hotel, but I think it's still worth mentioning. In China, many places have multi-type wall sockets, which accept three different charger plug types. Because of this, we didn't need any adapter during our trip before this place, even though we have European-type chargers. We assumed this would be the case here too, but unfortunately, the wall sockets in our room didn't accept European charger plugs. The problem was solved for us because one of the staff members lent us a charger plug, but I'd advise anyone who wants to stay here longer or has a lot of electronic devices to ask whether they can use their gadgets without an adapter. And by the way, the water is free, and they'll give you as many as you need if you ask.
