JI Hotel (Tianshui South Railway Station)

The hotel is right by the Weihe River, very easy to find, and parking is convenient, which is great for self-driving travelers. The front desk staff are welcoming. The hotel facilities are comprehensive and meet basic service needs. In the evening, you can go for a walk by the river! Just a small suggestion: it would be helpful to have instructions for operating the TV in the room. Our kids wanted to watch TV, and we spent the whole evening trying to figure it out without success!

The room is clean and tidy, with a comfortable layout. You can see the Wei River outside the window, the view is open and the night scene is beautiful. The most surprising thing is that there are small tea sets. With the Wei River at your back, you can have two cups of black tea. It is warm and comfortable in winter. There are also many snacks around. I went out to eat Tianshui Malatang and potato fritters at night... It is also close to the high-speed rail station and the airport. It only takes 10 yuan by taxi, which is perfect.

I booked it on May 1st, and the payment was successful at 17:15 in the afternoon. When I arrived, I was told that there was no reservation. I checked and found that the reservation was cancelled... It’s understandable that hotels adjust their prices during holidays, as they can just post the selling price directly. But it’s a bit disgusting that the entire reservation was canceled. I had originally made a special trip to Gansu for fun, but this really affected my mood, so I returned the next day. The room smells, the breakfast dishes are too salty, and the whole service is totally unworthy of the price.

The hotel is a 30-minute drive from Maiji Mountain, which is very suitable for getting up early to play and then continuing on the journey. The hotel has parking, which is very friendly. Just across the bridge from the hotel is the railway station area, which is very convenient for eating, drinking and buying supplies. The service was also very good. Knowing that we were afraid of the western sun, they specially upgraded the room type for us. Overall recommended.
