One of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. I would strongly recommend avoiding Lake House Kinneret. The hotel itself was dirty, noisy and chaotic, but what made the stay unbearable was the complete lack of control over guest behaviour. There was shouting and swearing, loud music late into the night, and people throwing cigarette butts out of windows — some of which landed outside/on our room area. Guests were walking into the dining room without shirts, and even though staff told them this wasn’t allowed, the general atmosphere remained completely out of control. This wasn’t a minor inconvenience or a case of us being overly particular. It was so unpleasant that we chose to leave after only two nights of a three-night stay. The trip cost us closer to £3,000, and we preferred to simply give up the final night, worth around £1,000, that we had already paid for rather than spend another night there. That should give some indication of how bad the experience was. For a hotel charging these sorts of prices, basic cleanliness, quiet at night and an environment where guests can actually relax should be the absolute minimum. Instead, it felt dirty, disorderly and badly managed. I would not return even at a fraction of the price, and I would especially warn families or anyone expecting a relaxing holiday by the Sea of Galilee to look elsewhere.
