"Room has 2 bunk beds suitable for 4 people. Beds are comfortable and they even provide pajamas (which we didn't use). Room size is a bit small but not unexpected for Japan. Toilet and bathroom are extremely good and clean - water is hot with consistent temperature, there is separate shower and bathtub. Good amenities and bath towels are changed daily. Daily housekeeping is available until 1pm each day. We stayed in hotel annex which is in a separate building next the the main hotel building. I think it would've have been better if we were in the main building. There is a coin operated laundry which is very convenient. However, no other facilities such as gym or public bath. Breakfast is a Japanese set, whilst nutritious and beautifully presented, it was the same set both days that we tried. More variety would have been appreciated. Location is convenient. Family Mart is opposite the hotel. Parking is using nearby public carpark, about 3 minutes walk from the hotel. There is also temporary parking outside the hotel to load/unload luggage. Staff are helpful, friendly, polite and professional."

"The location is great! It is close to the subway station and near Naka River. You can walk to Yatai Zone in a short distance. It is also near Donki, MatsuKiyo, Kawabata Shopping Street and Ichiran Ramen Original Store. The hotel has a luxury design. The room is cozy. Even though it is 12 sq.m., I can still unpack my 28-inch luggage by moving the chair aside. There are pajamas provided. Great facilities overall, but the water temperature was a not that hot (I expected it to be hotter). You can drop your luggage at the hotel. You can borrow an umbrella. Free beer provided in the evening at the bar. The staff is very nice, very welcoming and very helpful."

"Though small, this hotel has everything you need. The overall hygiene was good, and the location is convenient, within walking distance of Hakata Station. However, the soundproofing isn't great. I could hear kids playing in other rooms when passing by in the hallway, and the cleaning staff outside my door were quite loud early in the morning, which woke me up (*｀へ´*). As a hotel choice for a one-night stay in Fukuoka, I was generally satisfied."

Towels and indoor wear were provided, while toothbrushes, razors, slippers, and extra towels were available at a small fee. Wi‑Fi was reliable throughout the property. The shared lounge had desks, outlets, vending machines, a microwave, and even a manga library. Coin laundry machines were available, making longer stays convenient. Staff were polite and efficient. Atmosphere The semi‑private cabin design gave a homely feel compared to standard capsules. The interiors were tidy and modern, with thoughtful touches like privacy curtains, individual controls, and the cooling airflow from the ventilation system. Common areas were clean and functional, with a relaxed vibe in the lounge. Location Situated in central Tenjin, the property is right in Fukuoka’s shopping and entertainment hub. Transport connections are excellent: Tenjin South Station is just 2 minutes’ walk, Nishitetsu Fukuoka Station 4 minutes, Hakata Station 15 minutes by train, and Fukuoka Airport about 22 minutes. Shops, restaurants, and nightlife are all steps away. Overall Wellcabin Tenjin is affordable, clean, and practical for solo male travellers. The semi‑private cabins provide more comfort and privacy than capsules, with tidy facilities, reliable amenities, and even laundry options for convenience. Downsides are the men‑only restriction and the fact that some items like toothbrushes, slippers, and extra towels are not free. Overall, it’s a strong choice for budget‑minded travellers who want privacy, convenience, and a cool, comfortable sleep in the heart of Fukuoka."

"Close to Hakata Station, with a convenience store downstairs. The staff were very welcoming. I ordered some items online, and the hotel was able to receive them in advance and give them to me at check-in. They even thoughtfully wrote my customer details on the package! 🥰 The only minor issues were that the hallway lights on the room floors were a bit dim, and the laundry machines were on the 2nd floor. It would be even better if there were more washing machines and dryers available."

"The room was a bit old, but the facilities were great and well-equipped. The fridge was new and had a freezer compartment. It was just right for one person. The lobby offered free water and coffee. It's about a five-minute walk to the subway, but the central location makes it convenient to go anywhere. Plus, the famous Fullfull bakery is right downstairs."

"The hotel has public bath separate for men and women for relaxation. They also have free black coffee in the afternoon. They have superb service as I was able to leave my luggage 3 days earlier than check in day. They also lend umbrella when it is raining. The room is typical Japanese business room hotel. Only downside for me is location as it is around 15 to 20 minutes walk to Tenjin station."

"Summary: don't stay here. You've been warned. I've been to many capsule hotels in Japan. None were as horribly bad and overpriced as this one. Good: close to the station and the staff do what they can within their (very confined) perceived limits Bad: no sound insulation so you get to enjoy ambient sounds like traffic, trains and other patrons scuffling about during nighttime. The mattress is moldy, dirty and super thin so it doesn't feel comfortable unless you're used to sleeping on a moldy floor. The layout makes absolutely no sense at all. They tried cramming in as many capsules as possible in one small area and called it a day. 2 toilet stalls for 62 capsules? Laughable. The bath area is minuscule so you're queueing just to get a cramped dip. Lockers are minuscule and the luggage area is right next to the reception so you have to cross public area just to get some stuff out of your luggage. No space to unpack in peace either. I'd rather have them drop the breakfast and bathing area in favour of fixing the one thing they're supposed to deliver: a good night's sleep. Consider this place a last resort, not a proper stay."

"Stayed for a transit to nearby area in Kyushu. Room was very nice, surprisingly spacious considering the price. If you have a lot of lugguage, I recommend getting the room over a capsule. Onsen was small, slightly lukewarm but the weather was 35C so understandable. Bathroom was small but had everything it needed and functioned perfectly fine. Ammenities were available by the lift and all were great. Location is as good as it gets other than the Hakata City centre or other busy areas. 30 mins walk or 15 mins bus/subway to Hakata station."
