Hotel Tier Center

The room was nice, bright, and clean, and the staff were very friendly. However, Tirana itself is quite boring with not many attractions. The bus from Tirana to Podgorica was a nightmare; it was canceled without any notification or explanation.

On the positive side, the location is excellent. There's a Turkish kebab shop, a large supermarket, and a shopping center downstairs, and it's only a 5-minute walk to the airport bus stop. During my stay, I didn't see anyone at the front desk; all communication had to be done via WhatsApp, but thankfully, responses were quick. The problems: There was a lot of hair in the room, even in the bathroom and on the sheets, which made the sheets seem unclean. The building is mainly brick and wood structure, and some floorboards were sagging. The windows had very poor sound insulation; I needed to wear earplugs to sleep. It's about the level of a small hotel or guesthouse, and that's about what you'd expect for the price.

It was very different from the pictures; an old, guesthouse-style place.
