I stayed at Palmera Grand Suites, located opposite the New Bus Stand in Tirunelveli, for a two-day business trip to Palayamkottai. The location is excellent—easily accessible and well connected by local buses and major roads, making daily travel very convenient. The hotel is neat and well maintained. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. The room was clean and tidy, with 24-hour hot water availability. Central air conditioning was functioning automatically and efficiently. In-room amenities included an electric kettle with tea and coffee sachets, complimentary water bottles, and a small refrigerator stocked with refreshments. The hotel also offers authorized smoking rooms and permits alcohol. There is an in-house bar and restaurant, and the reception desk is staffed 24 hours a day. Check-out was equally smooth and uncomplicated. Complimentary high speed Wi-Fi services are available round the clock. Car parking facility is available in a space close to the hotel. The only drawback during my stay was the absence of bellboy or porter services. I had to carry my luggage to and from the room myself. While this was manageable for me, having a porter service would improve the overall guest experience. Overall, I had a comfortable stay and would rate this hotel 7.5 out of 10, mainly for its location, cleanliness, and ease of access.
