Environment and Location: The inn is located in a beautiful rural area with stunning countryside views, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. It's conveniently close to various attractions, such as Durdle Door and the wildlife park, and provides great opportunities for scenic walks starting right from the door.

The house is located in a rural area. The owner left us a note on the door when he was out, and we entered the room smoothly. It's very cozy inside. If you have a lot of family and friends, I highly recommend renting the independent two-story cabin with three rooms, which is very convenient to live in. I especially like the wood-burning fireplace.

Every country pub should be like this! Down a windy lane, lovely old building, low beams, wooden booths, roaring fireplace. Wonderful food menu, everything very delicious and fresh and local. Local beers, interesting wines. Friendly welcome and attentive service. Could have settled in for the whole afternoon by the fire ……

Have been coming here, off and on, for years. It's a really excellent pub, and seems to be thriving (they have opened an outside area in the warmer months). We had fish pie, and fish and chips, and the service was excellent: warm and personable. Would recommend.

Cute cottage, not for anyone mobility challenged. Very hot bedroom, didn't sleep much because of that (need lighter weight duvets), shame as otherwise lovely room & very quiet. Lovely to eat supper overlooking the field of sheep and lambs. Food was average. Pub chairs could be more comfy. Breakfast rather small (a full english was one mushroom, 1 small sausage, 1/2 tomato, scrambled egg & 2 very crispy bits of bacon. Had to request toast. Cold option was lovely but limited, juice, granola, yogurt & compote. Nice walks to be had from the door (we enjoyed the river walk through fields to a church, starting virtually opposite the pub).

Super nice and cute hotel, we stayed only one night on our way to Cornwall, but the owner is very nice, the room was super clean and well equiped. There is a nice pub next to the hotel that we would have loved to try but we arrived very late. Highly recommend

We stayed in room four. Just brilliant. Really comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean and a few steps down to the pub. The ambiance of this old pub just envelopes you. The owners are very helpful. The food is seasonal and truly delicious. The service was very good. The breakfast was amazing by an open fire. We just loved it and are about to book a second visit.

Cosy Inn in Tisbury Beautiful, cosy 14th century inn with rooms. Picture postcard perfect and in a great location for walks and a short drive to Tisbury High Street. Food in the pub was excellent as was choice of drinks. Plenty of car parking right opposite

OMG this place is wonderful. I've worked in hospitality for 30+ years so I vaguely know what I'm talking about and this is how a village pub should be. Located in a stunning part of the world with a lovely 3 hour circular walk from the pub. The pub is so cosy, the food was delicious, the staff brilliant and we stayed in Plum cottage which if they ever want to sell I'd move in straight away. I hope the locals know how lucky they are! Its 3 hours from where I live and I'm already planning how I can go back. Can't praise the whole team enough. So stop reading reviews and go, this place is really special.
