We were looking for a cozy, home-like hotel, and we found it right by the lake with its breathtaking view. A large fireplace, a wood fire, Christmas decorations, professional, discreet, and attentive staff, not to mention the hearty breakfast buffet. We'll definitely go back without hesitation.

The hotel is located right on the shore of Lake Titisee, in a fantastic location; I highly recommend getting a room with a lake view. The facilities are a bit old; there's no kettle, but you can borrow one from the front desk. The room was fairly clean, and the bed was quite comfortable, though the soundproofing wasn't great. There's an indoor swimming pool, bowling alley, sauna, and a spa on the basement level for a fee. The hotel has its own parking lot, no reservation needed, €10 per day. A plus is the hotel breakfast; it has a wide variety of cheeses, breads, and meats, and the selection is quite good. Enjoying breakfast while admiring the beautiful view of Lake Titisee is incredibly pleasant.

The location is great, and the lake-view room faces Titisee. The scenery is breathtaking! It was incredibly cold here in early July... It rained that morning, and it was only 8 degrees... outrageous... I had to buy a jacket at the last minute, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to leave the house... Most of the staff were nice, but the Middle Eastern or Indian girl at the front desk rolled her eyes at me at least three times 🙄 because I booked through Ctrip, which then booked the hotel through its agent. The name reserved by the hotel under my booking number didn't match my information. The last name was correct, but the first name wasn't. It took half an hour... Shouldn't the correct approach be to resolve the issue? Rolling her eyes at me was so unprofessional! I communicated calmly with Ctrip. It's not easy to reach a customer service representative in China at 11pm! It would have been fine for the hotel staff to be unhelpful, but they rolled their eyes at me... I didn't say a single word during the entire process, and it was unnecessary, but I have to give a bad review!
