An experience that exceeded my expectations, perfect for a vacation! The hotel is right by the sea, and opening the window offers a beautiful ocean view. Downstairs, there's a stunning seaside lawn. My room faced west, so the afternoon sunsets were absolutely gorgeous. The staff's service was simply perfect – incredibly warm and enthusiastic. On our departure day, as the shuttle bus for check-out was about to leave, a staff member proactively asked if we wanted to take it. After we confirmed, they even had the shuttle wait for us. In the evening, there was a marshmallow roasting activity in the lobby. Roasting marshmallows and watching the night view of the sea from the floor-to-ceiling windows was super chill.

Comfortable and spacious room with a view. We slept especially well during our stay. Also like the well deisgned common areas. The restaurant was fully booked on both days, so be sure to reserve ahead. Shuttle service is available, though the last departure from the station at 6pm is a little early. Overall, a nice stay.

This began with the shuttle pick-up from Toba Station, followed by detailed guidance during check-in, and enthusiastic explanations of each dish in the restaurant – every interaction was flawless. The food, featuring local delicacies like Ise Bay seafood and Matsusaka beef, was undeniably delicious and beautifully presented. While you mentioned the portion sizes were 'rather average,' this is typical of kaiseki-style dining; although there are many courses, individual portions are small. For those with larger appetites, it might feel a little insufficient. Please show respect and professionalism to your job particularly hotel staff working near lobby, serving welcome drinks. I heard them talking and teasing at foreign guests who did not speak Japanese, they did not know this behaviour affect the hotel brand and image of Japanese.
