"There is a sauna, but there is no drinking water dispenser in the bath area. It is too dangerous. Even though they say you can enter the building in your loungewear, you can see through the plain white pajamas and women's underwear, which is not appropriate for a dining area. I wish they would at least make it a samue type of pajama. On New Year's Eve, I was looking forward to the Red and White Song Battle, but there is no TV in the building (digital terrestrial), so I can only watch online shows like Amazon Prime and Netflix 😮💨, which is a shock 😨 The food and service are great, so it's really disappointing"

"The hotel is very overpriced for an old facility. We booked an oceanview room but the windows are blocked with bars and can barely be opened. Our room on the second floor could barely see the ocean. Furniture and decoration scream OLD. Most front desk workers are not Japanese. They claim to have an "international crew" but the problem is they don't know much about Japan. When we asked the doorman about taking trains, he didn't have a crew because he just got to Japan from another Asian country. On the other hand, the restaurants only have Japanese workers and no one speaks English. We booked an 8-course dinner. The chef was going around to explain the dishes to guests but just left us when he found out we don't speak Japanese. The menu is in Japanese only. This hotel also charged us at 135:1 foreign exchange rate while all other hotels charged 142-144:1 JPY-USD. It's not a foreigner friendly hotel and way overpriced for what it is."

"This is a hotel only five minutes away from Toba Station. Toba Station has both Kintetsu and JR, and there is a pier to Dolphin Island. Five minutes in the other direction of the hotel is the aquarium and Pearl Island. Another 5 minutes in the other direction are several major restaurants recommended on the Internet. The owner is very good. Although breakfast is not included, the owner will prepare two rice balls for each person every morning for the passengers to eat on the way. There are small dried fish, minced meat, pickled mustard greens, pickled mustard, etc., and lunch every day is solved by these rice balls. The room was upgraded to a room with a private bathroom for me. There is a hot spring on the top floor. Except for weekends, I am the only one taking a hot spring, which is simply a private hot spring."
