The Victory Villa

This is the spot if you want to get away from it all - it is so peaceful and the views are stunning. It really is a little touch of paradise. Wayne is a brilliant host - he advised on car hire, arranged a rainforest tour for us - everything we needed he was happy to advise or sort out. We stayed in a self catering apartment which was spacious, comfortable, clean and had beautiful views. We did end up having a couple of meals at the villa and they were fantasic - being vegan was no problem, we were extremely well catered for. We had a couple of days without car just to relax (and there is a short walk in the rainforest from the villa) - then had a car which was delivered to the villa for a few of days which was useful. It simply is exquisite here. We didn't want to leave!

What a stunning location on the edge of the rain forest. It enjoys fantastic views and oh so peaceful - a perfect holiday retreat. A large 45' pool beautifully landscaped overlooking Englishman's Bay, a picture perfect, unspoilt Caribbean beach. Wayne was a wonderful host, made us feel so welcome, was helpful and knowledgeable about local culture, nature and things to experience - thank you so much for an unforgettable holiday. Guest house overlooking Englishman's Bay offering stunning views of the coastline of Tobago and the surrounding sea. The owner Dr Wayne is a wonderful host and goes out of his way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. My room was large and modern and opened on to the back patio where there is a pool and great views. It is also where Wayne arranged for me to have a delicious breakfast featuring local cuisine on the morning of my departure. It is a bit tricky to find up on the mountain, but Wayne made himself available on WhatsApp and gave good directions on how to find the villa. It should be noted that there are no restaurants immediately nearby and I wouldn't want to drive on the narrow winding road up to the villa after dark so make sure you time dinner appropriately and that you are back here for sunset.

Victory Villa is an incredibly peaceful and relaxing location with comfortable accommodation, great facilities and the most beautiful setting on the edge of the rainforest but overlooking the sea. It’s a place which is absolutely perfect for a wide range of activities from watching the prolific birdlife and especially the hummingbirds on the feeders to contemplating the meaning of life with yoga and meditation. If I were thinking of writing a book I couldn’t imagine a more suitable location. However what makes this place really special is the host Wayne who goes out of his way to make sure that everyone who visits has an enjoyable stay - from organising guided walks through the rainforest to arranging delicious local cuisine to be delivered for evening supper on the terrace, he has it all covered and nothing seems too much trouble. Fortunately it’s a little bit off the beaten track and the isolation is thankfully not for everyone but if you choose to stay there then you are in for a real treat.

Had a wonderful few days at Victory Villa. It feels like such a hidden gem - the location is stunning, with amazing views of Englishman’s Bay and the rainforest, as well as the plentiful bird life around, particularly the hummingbirds; as a keen birdwatcher it was paradise. Wayne’s hospitality was second to none and it was great to get his insights on local foods and recommendations on places to visit. Will definitely be visiting again the next time I make a trip back to Tobago!

I came here for my birthday as part of a surprise trip and it was the literal BEST experience I have ever had staying at a hotel. The customer service was excellent, the keen eye to detail in planning super personalised activities just made the experience that much more surreal for a surprise get away vacation. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!! The food was amazing and the environment and facilities were so relaxing and tucked away in nature with such amazing views that you wouldn't have minded not being in your room the whole time. Would definitely recommend!

One of the best hidden gems in castara, the view of Englishman bay from the pool and the balcony is breathtaking alongside the hummingbirds, the service is amazing and the local food is great, it feels like home away from home.

Victory Villa offers a truly spectacular escape overlooking Englishman's Bay, and Mr. Wayne, the property owner, ensures an unforgettable stay from start to finish. From the moment of booking, his communication was impeccable, providing videos, detailed directions, and even weather updates before our arrival. We were pleasantly surprised by Mr. Wayne's flexibility, accommodating an early check-in and warmly greeting us upon arrival and departure. His recommendations for nearby dining and activities were spot-on, enriching our stay with local experiences. The property itself is a hidden gem, perfectly laid out with an awe-inspiring bird's eye view. The pool and outdoor deck became our favorite spots, offering an ever-refreshing panorama that never lost its magic. One day, as the rain fell, a stunning rainbow graced the sky, adding an extra touch of beauty to our experience (see attached picture). Mr. Wayne's hospitality truly shines through, making him a super host in every sense. For those seeking an off-the-beaten-path adventure combined with exceptional service and breathtaking vistas, Victory Villa comes highly recommended.

My experience at this villa was surely a great, peaceful and serene one...we actually had the entire villa to ourselves and was very pleasantly greeted by Mr. Wayne who my baby quickly took a liking to calling him uncle and looking for him the entire time...Mr. Wayne ensured that we had everything to our disposal and made our stay that much more comfortable...An unexpected humming bird moment made it for my hussy but the amazing pool and patio views, i truely still can't stop talking about!...I totally recommend this villa for family, friends even couple time...walk with your food or don't, the kitchen is available for cooking, you wouldn't want to leave this amazing getaway :)
