The room was spacious, especially the bathroom – it was huge! And there was plenty of hot water! The only thing was the numerous steps inside the room. My wife has trouble with her legs, so she had to be extra careful when going to the toilet and bathroom! Location: Very convenient for transport, and even better for supermarkets. I'd suggest the owner redesign the logo. The current sign is too plain; you can barely see it until you're right in front of it!

I don't recommend it. Really feels like people go there with a girl other than girlfriend and don't feel comfortable at all. I booked another hotel and paid for nothing this one.

The hotel was obscene, dirty and old. The photos are misleading advertising. I don’t now how they could have asked 190 €/night. They don’t have a reception, you enter from a parking lot in a small and dark place. We found a person who didn’t speak English and didn’t understand what we were doing there for a long time. The room smelled terrible. It was very dirty. Everything was old and rundown. The roll of toilet paper was brown spotted. We only stayed long enough to find another place to sleep. It cost a lot of money and discomfort. It was Awa Odori Festival and was not simple. At 15:45 we left the building and there was nobody to tell we where living. It was a trap.

As other reviews have mentioned, the hotel appears to have been renovated from a love hotel. As such, the rooms were spacious, and the sink and bath were particularly spacious and comfortable. I didn't notice any of the dirt that others had pointed out, and the cleanliness was also satisfactory. However, I did notice a peculiar smell when I entered the room. I think it was probably due to the air conditioning, but after using plenty of the provided deodorizer, it was greatly reduced. Overall, my impression was that it was "good value for money" and not as bad as the negative reviews online.

This is an unmanned hotel, so you'll need to use the phone at the desk to speak with a staff member, who will then retrieve your room key from the key box. The staff only speaks basic English, so you'll need to prepare a way to communicate in Japanese. They also offer early check-in, and the spacious rooms and bathrooms are a rarity in Japan. The bathrooms have strong water pressure and hot water. A microwave and refrigerator are provided. However, the mattresses on the beds were completely worn out. If I ever travel to Tokushima, I'll definitely stay here again.
