The hotel is beautiful and very well located, but I don't think the experience for families is good, they have restrictions for children under 4 years old to enter the pool even if accompanied by their parents. And they forgot a request for sweets in the room to celebrate 9 years of marriage, previously requested the day before by phone.

Environment: This designer luxury hotel opened in March 2024. The design is French modern style, with good lighting. You can see Tokyo Tower from the window. The hotel is surrounded by wealthy areas, and downstairs are luxury stores such as Hermes, Dior, and Cartier. The swimming pool is divided into two types: adults and children. Breakfast is divided into Japanese, Western, and set meals.

Booked for my boss, the newly completed Tokyo luxury hotel, Canu Tokyo celebrates the city's rich cultural fabric through its appreciation of food, art and design, bringing its vibrant social scene to the Japanese capital while serving as a gateway to its best attractions, just steps from the Roppongi and Toranomon neighborhoods. The hotel has eight floors and 122 rooms and suites, designed by Jean-Michel Gathy of Denniston, with an area of ​​284 square meters (3057 square feet), floor-to-ceiling windows, private balconies and Asian-style interiors with modern European influences. The spacious space creates a tranquil beauty, in stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city.

Tragic experience. I was looking forward to the experience of Janu after it opened. When checking in, the hotel should know that there are Chinese people staying here, so they arranged a front desk brother who can speak Chinese, which is quite considerate. Because my wife is pregnant, I asked the front desk for a pregnancy pillow, but it didn't come after entering the room. It was delivered the next night. It was a very small cylindrical pillow, which seemed to be bought on the spur of the moment. I was dumbfounded when I entered the room. The cigarette holder and shower in the bedroom were all taped. Japan is a country with many earthquakes, which means something really happened. The fire-fighting facilities in the bedroom could not work. The cupboards were full of the smell of new decoration. Because my wife is pregnant and is particularly sensitive to formaldehyde, it is also not good for the fetus. All clothes cannot be hung in the cupboard. There is an unknown object on the bedside lamp and I don't know what it is for. Since I am also a drunkard I was a hotel employee, thinking that the time interval between check-in and check-in might be too short, and the cleaning staff didn't notice it. I didn't say anything on the first and second days, hoping to see if they would correct their mistake. As a result, nothing happened. When I returned to the room on the third day, I communicated with the hotel. They said they needed to report it to their superiors. On the last night, I returned to the hotel and saw a basically illegible card with some apologies and a box of snacks. I was speechless. For a room that costs 15,000 yuan a night, there was such a problem. At least the general manager should come to explain in person and apologize. This is not even the basic respect. By the way, the hotel breakfast is a set meal, with only three choices, Western, Japanese and vegetarian, and it's the same every day. On the third and fourth days, my wife and I could only eat McDonald's. If you book a stay, it's best not to include breakfast.

The last time I stayed at the Edition Hotel in Figure 2. Although Janu is very close to Toranomon, it is much more convenient than Toranomon. I am very satisfied with all aspects of the hotel and would like to stay here again next time I go to Tokyo.
