The hotel is located at the North Exit of Otsuka Station on the Yamanote Line, a five-minute walk after getting off the train. Breakfast is à la carte, with four options. I wasn't used to the Japanese style breakfast, but the others were fine, though there was no fruit or milk. The bed in the room is on top, with a sofa underneath, which my child really liked. They charge extra for using the spare bedding from the closet, so it's better to bring your own sheet. My room, an even-numbered one, was right by the Toei train line, so there was noise when trains passed by.

This was my first time staying in a Yagura room with three people. The upper loft had two double beds, while the lower level had a sofa/tatami area. The sink, bathtub, and toilet were all separate, which was super convenient as we could all use them simultaneously. The view of Otsuka's city streets was also a nice touch. Although the space was compact, it was very thoughtfully designed. The downstairs tatami area was perfect for chatting with friends! The location is also very close to JR, which is super convenient!

First family trip to Japan with Tokyo as the starting point and OMO5 Otsuka did not disappoint. Was prepared for the room space contraints with most Japanese hotels but OMO5 provided a comfortable and satisfying stay. The Yagura room accommodated the 3 of us comfortably for the duration of stay. Location - very satisfied, Hotel amenities - more than sufficient, Service and Hospitality - exceeded expectations. The OMO5 Team - pleasant, helpful and patient.

The location is convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Otsuka Station. The room was clean, but maintenance could be better. The hotel hasn't been open for too long, but there are already quite a few signs of wear and tear. Breakfast is extra, but the quality is good; I bought it for two days. I would stay here again next time.

ACTUALLY it's very nice. Their service can be better, because when we have breakfast we need used tickets. But we gave wrong tickets were ok in 2 days morning, the last morning they ask why tickets were wrong.

Location wise, it was very convenient. Only a few minutes walk from Otsuka Station, with F&B and malls nearby. I think they could have done better in terms of the cleanliness though. Staff were helpful in providing help when I asked them about the luggage delivery services to Narita Airport. Just a note for older aged travellers - I don't think the room is elderly-friendly as there are steps to get to the bed area and you'll have to bend quite a bit around the sofa area.

Otsuka is a very convenient location close to Ikebukuru. Many choices of restaurants and are value for money. The room we picked is interesting. We stayed there for a week However, it is not recommended for aged people as they will need to climb up to to the bed by stairs. I like it but you need to “mind you head” for the first two days as you will easily knock into the top rack of the bed. It will be better if the Hotel can provide toothpaste solely but not toothpast and toothbrush together in a bag. We have trouble to book 2 days in advance a taxi from the Hotel to the Airport Shuttle bus stop at Ikebukuru. The Hotel staff was helpful but we guessed it could be the short distance, the taxi company did not entertain. It is strange experience for an international city like Tokyo.
