Booked a semi double room. Room is small but comfortable enough for 1 person. If really double, travellers with big bags might have problem moving around. Many eateries surrounding especially if you walk to near the Hilton side. The hot bath is definitely a plus after a tiring day of walking in Tokyo.

We arrived very early in the morning and very tired. Reception told us we cannot check in until 3 pm. And if we would like to check in they want to charge 2000 yen per hour earlly check. So we waited a bit and when we decided to check in 1 hour early we paid 2000 yen but the reception left us and let other guest check in while other two receptionist was just talking while we standing there waiting. I work in the hotel myself and their customer service is not good. Eventually someone serve us and give us our payment receipt but no one told us or explain things so when we go in our room we have to figure it out things on our own. They need more training as reception need to be good on customer service's and would be able to explain things and need to learn basic English as well. As there so many foreigners and everyone ask questions but language is the problem.

Avoid the breakfast. Don't waste your money. Take a room without breakfast and save yourself 25 Canadian dollars per day. Without question worst quality breakfast I have ever had anywhere in Japan in the 8 years I have been traveling in Japan. The restaurant is leased and it's quite evident that the owners cut costs wherever they can. If you like fat, carbohydrates, powdered juices, canned fruit cocktail, warm yogurt, sugary cereals, greasy deep fried food you'll be in heaven. Otherwise skip this place you can do so much better spending your $25 outside of this hotel. I won't get into the details of how management handled this situation but suffice it to say that my complaints basically fell on deaf ears because they believed the restaurant over what was very obvious. The only fresh fruit they offer are cut up orange slices and cut up grapefruit slices. The unsanitary uncooled yogurt bowl is just foul. Just think how many hands touch that ladle and the fact that it's not being kept cool is shocking. Why they don't have small individual containers and a fridge to store them in is beyond me. While the hotel is clean and the service from the front desk staff very very good the rooms are incredibly small even for Japan. I ordered a double room for a single person. It was supposed to be a full-sized double bed. Well I had to sleep diagonally and I'm 6 ft 1 in. The mattress was old and soft and I have had back pain every single day. Typically in Japan you'll find hard beds much better quality than these beds. I will say the Onsen on the second floor was very nice to have and use each morning and each evening after a long day. The water temperature is very hot so it's something you'll have to get used to. It seems tattoos are accepted in this Onsen because I saw several guys that had tattoos and they told me it wasn't an issue which is quite unusual once again for Japan. There is only cleaning of the room every 3 days but they do provide you fresh towels each day. The towels are hung on your door in a plastic bag. Check out is very early at 10:00 a.m. and they don't allow for any flexibility unless you pay about $20 per hour which is crazy. They do have storage facilities for your luggage during the day and the staff are very helpful. The location is poor. There are very few restaurants in the area and the ones that are are just not quality restaurants. I've stayed in Tokyo a dozen times and this was my least favorite location and least favorite hotel for a number of reasons but especially the room size. I can live with a small room but these rooms are so crowded you can't even move. I couldn't imagine having two people in the room. APA hotels are usually quite good and reasonably priced but the big fail here is the quality and size of the beds and the leased restaurant. The food is a big fail for APA Hotel standards but that's a consistency issue that needs to be addressed by top management between all their hotels. There's lots of better hotels in the same price range and better location bigger rooms better quality everything. It would be the last Hotel I'd return to in Tokyo.

Small, compact, but every detail counts. From the bag that serves as a smoke hood in case of fire/smoke to the place where to stow the baggage and power bank or WiFi mobile device rental. Amazing quality for the price. Would definitely stay again

There is hot spring here. However many people do not know or follow the hot spring etiquette. Seen many didn't wash before soaking in the bath. No clear written instruction inside the hot spring or verbal instructions when checking in as well. Room cleaning happens on the 3rd day from check-in day. In between no room cleaning. I guessed you can request, we left it as what the hotel planned. Fresh towels and Yukata provided daily. Quite stuffy with the centrally controlled heater. Thankfully the window can be opened to allow cool air into the room. Can call the front desk to change it to only fan without the heater. Many convenient stores (Three Family Marts and one 7Evelen within walking distance). The metro is close by 2 min walk. Eateries / restaurants are not many nearby, you probably want to head to Shinjuku Station for a lot more options. Overall clean room although small (as expected) Have Laundry + Microwave Oven.

I had a pleasant stay at APA Hotel & Resort Nishishinjuku Gochome Eki Tower during my trip to Tokyo. The hotel was clean, modern, and well-organized, with efficient service and everything needed for a comfortable stay. The room was compact, as expected in Tokyo, but very functional and comfortable. One of the best highlights was the convenient location, with Nishishinjuku Gochome Station nearby, making it easy to travel around Tokyo. There were also convenience stores, restaurants, and useful amenities close to the hotel. The surrounding area felt safe and convenient. The facilities were a nice bonus, especially for a city hotel, and the overall experience offered great value for money. Staff were professional and check-in was smooth. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to travelers visiting Tokyo.

Everything was good, the location, onsen, amenities and cleanliness. The only suggestion is the pillow was flat and very stiff and doesn't reshape to anything. I asked for softer pillow but it was another stiff pillow. Otherwise it was great.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room is small but compact and has everything you need. For two people I would consider it too small (you cannot move at the same time) but for one person it’s perfectly fine. The service is also good, you have to check in digitally but there is still people to assist. The location is great, it’s quiet, and very close to the metro station – just two stations to go to Shinjuku. I would stay here again.
