great location, not too far from metro. the room size was adequate for luggages packing but the carpet smell was not pleasant

We opted for the 15 sqm room, which was quite spacious and could accommodate 3 people. However, the bathroom was unfortunately small, making it cramped for larger individuals. Otherwise, the overall experience was satisfying. The air conditioning was super cold.

Reception at level 2 after i called them at 10.30pm to check-in. A guy looks like staying inside one of their room came to level 1 to guide us on check-in procedure. Toliet super small.. keep banging around inside while using it. Lift also small.. need to take lift twice to lvl 6 since got stroller & luggage. MUST check out @ 10am cannot extend at all as mention by the ‘guy’ its their rule. Location need to walk 10mins to nearest station - Tawaramachi subway. Nearest convenience store also need to walk 5mins. Only good was the mattress and pillow. Not too soft. Was cheap for 3nights, but i will think twice again nexttime

I ain't sure why a lot of people left a very bad comment regarding this property, the room size is quite big compared with JP standard (we got room at 6 floor with 2 beds (5ft size) for 2 person) the location is good (a walking distance to Kuramae station 200-350m (for Toei Asakura & Oedo line), surrounded with good restaurants such as Ramen, Tonkatsu (authentic one open since 1977), origin Japan (ready to eat JP meals & side dishes), etc. including a good Patisserie shops, a convenience stores (Lawson, Family mart, 7-11, local supermarket). Yes they have a rule regarding towels (1/ea/2 nights) & cleaning services (not on daily basis but if you want you can ask them to do), the guy at the receptionist may not always smile but if you asked something he's always respond & support, they have a common area (2nd floor) which there is kitchen, kitchen utensils, microwave, coffee machine, dining table, couches and air conditioning (and they are allowed us to use with free of charge) personally my friend & I would booked this hotel if we visit Tokyo next time.

It's not as bad as everyone's comments say. It can't be compared with a hotel. It's convenient enough! I will choose this place again next time I have a chance!

In Ueno, a prime location, this place offers excellent value for money. It's marketed as a guesthouse, not a hotel. Bath towels are changed every two days, but you need to bring them to the front desk. Rooms are rarely cleaned, but you can request them. There's a washer and dryer in the basement. It's conveniently located to Kuramae Subway Station and buses, a 5-minute walk away. Convenience stores are also within a 5-minute walk.

It's not really a hotel; it only meets the bare minimum standards of a B&B. The main issue is cleanliness. The staff doesn't clean the room during your stay, so you have to take out the trash yourself. Towels are only changed every two days, "but they keep new and used towels together (behind the 2/F reception door)." The mattress is also stained. The laundry room is in a smelly basement, and you have to find the light yourself. The environment is extremely horrible (they're horrible, like a cramped room). The bathroom is very cramped, and the lights in the reception area are always off, and there's no air conditioning.

The smell is terrible, and it can't be cancelled. I just ordered it and it's non-refundable. And it cost 740 RMB. Absolutely awful!!!
