Shinjuku Washington Hotel Annex Reviews

Had a great stay here! The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was well-equipped with all the toiletries I needed. There were also additional amenities available at the lobby that I could pick up right after check-in, which was really convenient. The service was excellent and the staff were very helpful. The hotel is also about a 10-minute walk from Shinjuku Station, which made getting around Tokyo really easy. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for solo travellers! 😊

Quite spacious compared to other Tokyo hotels. Breakfast was superb. Two choices - Jap or Western. Nice!

The hotel's location is great, and the room was quite spacious, especially for a Japanese hotel. There are convenience stores, pharmacies, fast-food restaurants, and a shopping mall nearby. The hotel facilities are new, and the room size is just right. Check-in was simple and quick. It's also very convenient as it's close to the airport bus stop. I would definitely stay here again.

It's a bit of a walk, about 16-17 minutes, from Shinjuku South Exit, which feels a little far. But then again, Shinjuku is a major station, and staying near a smaller station has its pros and cons too. The price would have been better if it wasn't during the Obon festival. The annex reception is a bit simple, not as grand as the main building. There's a direct bus to the airport, but the notice was posted discreetly by the elevator on the second floor. We only saw it when we checked out, but we had already bought JR Limited Express tickets.

This hotel is perfectly located right outside the airport bus stop, and next to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building which offers free observation decks for amazing night views of Shinjuku. It's also very close to Shinjuku Station and the Tocho-mae subway station. The main building even has a food court and a convenience store. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Tokyo!

Location is good as is very near to Shinjuku station, which have all the necessary eateries and shops. Since is next to the transport hub, going places also have more choices The breakfast is good with good variety,  very local Japanese's breakfast, good changes from typical American Breakfast. Usual, the draw back is the room size, but with their toiletries options, makes the stay more comfortable.

The hotel's location is excellent, with a direct bus from Haneda Airport stopping right at the doorstep. It's also very quiet, being close to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. We booked several day tours, all of which met at Mode Gakuen, just a 12-14 minute walk from the hotel, which was incredibly convenient. There's a Matsuya restaurant just a five-minute walk away, where the food is cheap, delicious, and it's open 24 hours. While the room is small, the location more than makes up for it. Downstairs, there's a laundry room and self-service luggage storage, so you can do laundry or store your bags anytime. The rooms don't have toothbrushes, but you can pick up toothbrushes, face masks, cleansers, tea bags, coffee, and more from a dispenser next to the front desk, which is a very thoughtful touch.

Busy district but nice quiet area. Got 24 hours mini store. Big room , will surely book again

The twin room was spacious enough to fully open our luggage. The second-floor lobby offers unlimited self-service amenities like toothbrushes, facial masks, razors, and various personal care items, which was fantastic, especially the facial masks. Although the room wasn't cleaned daily, towels and trash were changed and replenished with drinking water every day. The breakfast buffet was also excellent, especially the one in the main building, which even offered steak and sashimi. This hotel offers great value for money and a wonderful experience.

Strategic location, walking distance from shinjuku station, very convenient bus ride from Narita airport. Room is clean and well equipped

750m to Shinjuku Busta. 900m to Haneda express train. Convenient location for my travel to Kawaguchiko for Fujisan hike. For muslims, there are many halal restaurants nearby. In fact, there is a nice Indian restaurant at the basement serving best mutton briyani far away from home !

The hotel is located in a prime location, only less than 10 minutes away from Shinjuku Station and we took the airport bus directly to the hotel from Narita Airport. Amenities are provided at the reception area and guests can feel free to take as many as needed.

Facilities: It's a traditional hotel, so the facilities are a bit old but reasonably well-maintained. The shower water pressure was very low, making it time-consuming to shower. Cleanliness: Decent, though the toilet had a slight odor. Location: It's almost a kilometer walk to Shinjuku Station, with some uphill and downhill sections if you walk above ground. The underground passage isn't ideal due to poor air quality. It's about 650 meters to Keio Plaza Hotel, less than a 10-minute walk, and that's the nearest airport bus stop. Service: Alright.
