HORRIBLE! Please never stay at this “hotel” even if someone gave it to you for free. The photos are so misleading it felt like an absolute sham. 1/5 is already me being generous! It’s more like a motel than a hotel, and the receptionist is literally never there to do their job. “Self check in” is them just putting a piece of paper on the counter with your key out in the open, which is so unsafe! Room keys aren’t key cards but actual keys, and only one per room is given. The door is a PAIN to open I had to constantly force it open or bang it closed. And the room was terrible beyond belief. Walls are dirty and peeling, cupboard doors broken. And they claim that the room has a window but instead of a window IN the room, it’s just a tinted window in the BATHROOM that can’t even be cracked open. Imagine how stuffy my nights were, and the AC was so dusty too. I reached out to trip about the condition of the room on my very first day and after communicating with the “hotel”, I was told I would be given a room switch/upgrade on my last 4 days as they had no other room. After DOUBLE CHECKING that this is confirmed, I went along with it. But on the day itself, the receptionist had not A SINGLE clue about it and so there wasn’t any new room for us to move into. Talk about unprofessional! Why make arrangements you can’t even keep? We were absolutely furious and Trip only wanted to give us a bunch of coins as compensation. A joke. After the whole complain on the first day, it then felt like the hotel staff had some hatred towards us. They only clean your room if you put up the door hanger but trust me they don’t even actually clean your room. I came back to my duvet just carelessly thrown over the bed COVERING the dirty towels and trash. The floor not even swept or vacuumed! The bathroom barely cleaned and drain not unclogged! It’s just mad. Would never EVER stay here ever again and I would never recommend it. It shouldn’t even be given a 3 star title, much less a hotel. Completely ruined my Tokyo experience.
