Asakusa Tobu Hotel

The location is fantastic. You can take the Narita Express directly to Asakusa Station, and from there, it's just a few minutes' walk past two intersections to reach the hotel. The Ginza Line subway station right across the street makes getting anywhere incredibly convenient. Senso-ji Temple is right next door, and in the evenings, the small alleys are full of various food options. There's also a 24-hour drugstore downstairs. The room is clean, and the bathroom even has a bathtub with a separate wet and dry area. Downstairs, you can pick up amenities like toothbrushes, shower caps, and brushes as needed. The only downside is that the room is a bit small, but that's typical for Japan. After hours, you need a key card to enter the main door, which makes it very secure.

Great location, right outside the subway station. A minor hiccup: I left my car keys at the hotel when I checked out and only realized it after returning home. After contacting them, the keys were couriered back to me. The hotel itself was decent, nothing amazing but no major issues either. I'd consider staying at Tobu Hotel Levant Tokyo again next time I'm in Tokyo.

The room was a bit small; we couldn't even fully open two large suitcases. I originally booked it for its location, as there's an express train directly to Haneda Airport. There's a great restaurant nearby where 'Kill Bill' was filmed, and their wagyu beef is delicious.

Pros: The hotel boasts an excellent location right in the heart of Asakusa, very close to Kannon-dori and Kaminarimon. It's surrounded by attractions, shops, and restaurants. The Ginza Line, Asakusa Line, and Tobu Line are all within walking distance, making getting around incredibly convenient. The Asakusa Line even offers direct access to both Haneda and Narita Airports. The hotel's overall environment is great, the room facilities are new, the bathroom has a wet/dry separation, and it's very clean. We booked a corner room, which was very quiet, and we had a direct view of the Senso-ji Temple tower from our window. The room size is quite generous for Tokyo; we were able to open two 28-inch suitcases. Cons: The bedding was quite mediocre, especially the pillow which wasn't comfortable to sleep on. The mattress was also very hard, and the duvet was thin. Additionally, because it's located in such a lively area, the street below the hotel can get quite crowded and noisy with tourists.
