Hotel Villa Fontaine Tokyo-Hamamatsucho Reviews

The room was tiny, typical of Japan, but had everything you needed. The front desk service was excellent. They emailed me after I booked, and even helped me mail a package to a local friend. What touched me most was that when I got back to my room in the evening, after mailing the package that morning, there was a note on my door asking me to contact the front desk. I went to ask about it and found out they had overcharged me 20 yen for the postage in the morning and kept apologizing while returning the money... Such a small thing really shows the quality of their staff.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Its location in Hamamatsucho is incredibly convenient, with Daimon Station and Hamamatsucho Station nearby for easy travel. It's not a touristy area, which makes it wonderfully quiet. There are plenty of convenience stores like 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, and Lawson, and dining options include Matsuya and a small ramen shop called Menkurai. The mattress was super soft and comfortable, and the room had no strange smells. The price was also quite affordable. Plus, the front desk staff were all very friendly! I'd definitely recommend it to friends and family. TT

Cool rooms with all the needed equipment and amenities. Drinking water. Everyday towels. We loved the location very much. The breakfast was fine.

Our five-night stay at the hotel was pleasant. The room was clean and provided toiletries, towels, and robes. Small items were available at the front desk. Towel changes and trash disposal are available daily, and linen changes are included for stays of four or more nights (this can also be requested separately, but may incur an additional fee). The twin-bedded room is pretty small, with a small table and folding chairs. There is enough space to move around even with one medium or large suitcase in the room. Breakfast is about the same every day: eggs, sausage, meatballs, chicken, vegetables with dressings, pastries, and soups. The building also has a washer and dryer, a beverage machine, and a currency exchange machine.i

Comfortable and clean and bigger size than normal hotel, just a bit far from railway station

Location: Very quiet with some small restaurants nearby. Just a short walk to the main street where you can see the Tokyo Tower. Service: I was in a hurry on my departure day and asked the front desk to call a taxi for me. It arrived very quickly. Facilities and hygiene were both good.

the lobby is very tiny and suck with all baggage for waiting for check in and after check out. There is no seating or waiting area at all. Also the location is not nearby the JR or Metro . Need a bit of walk .

The hotel is about 15mins away from the nearest station but of you are taking from Haneada Airport, the hotel is at the last station of the monorail Hamamatsucho. Its 3 stops from Tokyo station. The room size is reasonable consider it's at Tokyo but eating places is limited.

Really good hotel for its price. Near to Hamamatsucho station, very convenient to travel to/from Haneda airport and visit other places.

Everything was nice about this hotel! Hamamatsucho is a very nice place to live, hotel was quiet and comfortable. The room wasn’t so big and it’s ok for most Japanese hotels but there were enough space for two of us. Next trip I’ll try to book this hotel again if it’s available!

I think the staff of this hotel is very nice and helpful. And the environment of the hotel is very comfortable. Location is perfect.

Overall, it was a very comfortable stay with everything we needed. We could grab amenities from the front desk, and the breakfast, though simple, was delicious. The surrounding area has excellent public transport connections, and there's a newly opened mall with plenty of food options, plus a convenience store very close by.

Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. Location is good and convenient travel to city.

I needed a budget room for two near a train station. This place was perfect, and it's in a nice quiet area near a canal. The staff were friendly and helpful.
