The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The trains are extremely loud, i am not joking.. and you can find plenty of comments mentioning the noise problem. The hotel staff only give fake smiles and act like robots. They can’t speak English, and they don’t try to help with any issues. It’s ridiculous. Even after we told them that I’m pregnant and asked for a slightly quieter room, they were completely cold. It really shows how cold some Japanese people can be, don’t be fooled by the smiles. By the way, the next hotel I stayed at was totally fine, so the problem is definitely this hotel. I definitely do NOT recommend it. Please read the other 1 star reviews, there are many with the same issues

Booked this hotel last minute at 6 PM for the same night, and it was surprisingly cheap, just over 200, with breakfast included. The hotel is only a 3-4 minute walk from Shinagawa Station. It's a bit dated, but the room amenities were quite well-equipped. The only minor drawback was that I ended up with a smoking room, so there was a slight smoke smell. But for this price and location, what more could you possibly ask for?! I've included some photos of the breakfast and the view from the window.

The location is very good, and the hotel also provides free breakfast. However, because it is located next to the Shinagawa railway station, it may be a little noisy at night and in the morning.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient. I picked this place specifically because I was traveling to Yokohama, and being right at the Takanawa Exit of Shinagawa Station made getting around super easy. A really thoughtful touch is the grab-and-go breakfast available downstairs.

The staff's politeness can be better for Chinese-looking or non-speaking Japanese customers. Their expression gives me the impression that I am not really welcome.

Great location, with a supermarket right next door. It's close to Shinagawa and the price is reasonable.

Nice hotel though the bed is quite hard but other than that it has everything you need. Breakfast is great but crowded. Very good location.

This hotel is conveniently located very close to Shinagawa Station, making it easy to get around. However, it's a bit noisy since it's right by the road.

It's only a stone away from shinagawa station which is very convenient for travelers like us. Cleanliness as always on tip top condition. Looking forward to my next stay with toyoko inn.

Everything was good. Front desk was helpful. Room is very clean. Breakfast was OK. Highly recommended this hotel.
