Sakura Hotel Nippori Reviews

It was quite a struggle getting there from the station, especially with the uphill walk and a big suitcase. Since it was a shared toilet and shower, it felt a bit creepy seeing other people's hair scattered around. Breakfast offered bread, tea, and coffee, but I didn't really eat much of it. It felt like about 99% of the guests were foreigners.

Stayed here with a friend. The room was exactly as pictured, with bunk beds. It was more spacious than I expected, with plenty of room to open our luggage comfortably. The surrounding area was nice for a stroll, and it's very close to the train station, making travel super convenient. The neighborhood was also quite peaceful.

This is the worse hotel i ever stay...smelly and the room is totally different from photo as u can see, requested cancel for first first night after checked in but rejected, checked with trip.com ask for cancel also rejected and have to stay for 5 nights The nearest JR line is 12min walk distance...if u have a big luggage, i wont recommend u to stay here guys

Not too far from a few different stations.there were no free Amenities, have to pay for toothbrush slippers, there wasn't even any tissues in the room.

It was nice, for a budget hotel and the shower place is separated from the bedroom but there’s also a ladies bathroom as well. Overall great place to stay.

The environment is quiet and the facilities are complete, offering great value for money! The hotel is located right in the city center, making it very convenient for shopping and dining. The staff processed check-in quickly, and the service was excellent. Although the room wasn't large, it was clean and tidy. I would consider staying here again next time.

It's an inconvenient location if you want to spend your time in Tokyo without being constrained by train times, but it's great for strolling around Yanaka Ginza. I used to be very impressed with this place, but now the cleanliness and equipment are starting to show signs of wear and tear. The breakfast soup has changed; we could only drink the broth. It's a long walk from the Chiyoda Line station, and it gets very deserted in the evening. If you use the Yamanote Line, it's also quite a long walk, and it's very quiet and deserted at night. However, the staff at Sakura are still very attentive.

Very good service and comfortable for friends and family. Easy to travel and close to the historical area in Tokyo.

The front desk staff were very helpful, and the hotel was very clean. It's about a 10-minute walk from the hotel to Nippori Station. We chose to stay here on our last night because the car rental place was nearby, and in the morning, we could take the Airport Express directly to the airport. There's a Lawson convenience store near the hotel, so we bought instant noodles to bring back. The hotel cafe staff were incredibly kind; they even prepared our noodles and brought them to our table. Breakfast only consisted of bread and coffee. The only inconvenience was that the men's bathroom was on the 4th floor, while the women's was on the 5th. My room happened to be right in front of the women's bathroom, so it was very convenient for me. However, it was a bit of a hassle for my husband and son, who had to go downstairs to shower, wash their faces, and brush their teeth.

The price was very affordable for a family of four, and the location was great. It would have been nice if it were a little cleaner, but considering the price, it was good. Above all, I absolutely loved the staff who always had a smile on their faces.

The room has a woody scent. You also have to use the shared restrooms and showers on each floor. Other than that, it's not bad considering the value for money. It was fine for the three of us, but if there are four of you in a Japanese-style room, your luggage will be a burden. I won't forget the tree scent, definitely take it with you if you can't live without it.

Recommended for budget and backpack youngster. I was travelling with families and didn’t check properly this was budget hotel and common bath to share. So I need to check out next day to move out to more comfortable one for my family ( young child) .

Service was good, simple place no frills. Place has funnily low doors though so watch out
