Shinagawa Prince Hotel Reviews

I stayed in room 21, and the sofa faced Tokyo Tower directly, offering a great view on a clear day. The room was comfortable and well-equipped. The hotel's biggest advantage is its excellent location, directly opposite Shinagawa Station, making it easy to get anywhere. Downstairs, shopping and dining are incredibly convenient: there's a 7-Eleven, and a wide variety of restaurants. I was also pleasantly surprised to find a duty-free drugstore that was much cheaper than the airport's duty-free shops.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel for Chinese tourists. The front desk staff clearly discriminates; they let people with Western features check in early, but insist that those with Asian features wait until after 3 PM.

The hotel is right in front of the subway station, with a direct line to the KK line, which is super convenient.

We picked this hotel because it was close to shinegawa station, and it seemed to have a great breakfas.t After the stay.We confirm that it was a great location and the breakfast their was fabulous. Definitely, would stay again in another visit to tokyo.

The location is great, right next to the subway. At first, I couldn't find slippers and thought there weren't any, but it turns out I just didn't see them behind the door. However, they actually charge extra for a disposable razor!

The location is fantastic, just a 3-minute walk from Shinagawa Station, with plenty of amenities nearby. Breakfast was a bit crowded but the food was good. The room was nice, although the air conditioning controls were old-fashioned and a bit inconvenient. The room felt a bit stuffy, perhaps due to insufficient fresh air circulation. There's a convenience store right outside the hotel to the right, which was handy. The price was also quite good; I booked two weeks in advance for 950 a night, including breakfast for two. The freshly made onigiri at breakfast was delicious!

This hotel offers great value for money, located right across the street from Shinagawa Station, making subway and Shinkansen access super convenient! The luggage storage is very well-organized; guests scan a QR code to register and pick up their items with a ticket. The breakfast is also quite extensive, with staff guiding you to your table at the entrance. Plus, you can even see Tokyo Tower from the room!

Nice view with decent location, a short walk from Shinawatra station. Just footsteps to reach an onsite 7-11 at the Annex. If you are here for the view and accessibility, this is a good place to stay.

Great location with walking distance to Shinagawa train station.  Hotel a bit old but bigger than the usual Japanese hotel.  Good value for money.

It's quite a feat to snag a hotel at this price in a city like Tokyo. The breakfast area can get pretty crowded, but the variety of food is excellent. Plus, there are other simpler eateries nearby if you prefer. The location is super convenient, just a stone's throw west of Shinagawa Station.

This hotel looks great from the outside; the building is impressive and the location is excellent. The lobby on the ground floor is particularly grand. However, the moment I stepped into my room, I regretted paying over 800 yuan. The room was incredibly small and definitely not worth the price. I would have been better off staying at the Toyoko Inn nearby for 400 yuan. The main issue was during check-in. I told the staff I was staying for three nights and needed a quiet room. They assured me they had given me a very quiet room. Yet, right outside my room was a huge beverage machine that emitted a penetrating buzzing sound all night. I reluctantly endured it for three nights. This kind of deception is unacceptable, and that's why I'm giving a low rating.

This hotel is huge with lots of rooms in different wings. We choose this hotel because of its location. But this hotel is a little dated, it will be good if they renovate the rooms. My daughter bathroom’s drainage is a little choked, the water drained too slow. Overall, it is still not too bad. The rooms soundproofing is good as compared to other hotels which I has stayed.

Close proximity to Shinagawa station and amenities. There’s a convenience store and bowling alley in the same building. Spent our last day bowling. Direct train from airport to hotel. Will stay here again if I visit Tokyo.o

Right across from Shinagawa Station, this hotel is super convenient for getting anywhere as Shinagawa is one of Tokyo's major transportation hubs. There's a 7-Eleven on the 2nd floor of the hotel annex, though it gets so busy during peak hours that the staff look completely worn out. It's generally very convenient if you avoid the 7-9 PM rush. I was a bit disappointed that the ice machine on my floor was out of order during my stay. The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious, with both Western and Japanese options, including cold udon, curry rice, gyudon, and freshly made onigiri.
