The hotel is located near JR train station - Shimbashi station which makes travel easy and it is just a short walk away. There are a lot of eatery and shops nearby. The hotel itself is a little small but it is clean with good level of amenities (i.e. hair dryer, security safe, Tea, toiletries...etc). The breakfast is pretty cheap at 500 Yen that gives you a hearty healthy soup and a bun. There is also free bakery bread on my visit. The staffs are very friendly and responsive even before my arrival to discuss on Yamato luggage delivery options.

This was my second trip to Tokyo, and I chose to stay near Ginza again. The hotel is conveniently located, just a 5-8 minute walk from Shimbashi subway station. The area is fantastic, with local supermarkets, numerous 24-hour convenience stores, Don Quijote duty-free shop, and the Ginza shopping district with all sorts of mid-to-high-end department stores, luxury boutiques, restaurants, small shops, and banks – absolutely everything you need! The hotel itself, while compact, has all the essentials. It's newly renovated and very comfortable. The toilet is electric, and the shower has many detailed settings. There's a free coffee machine in the lobby, and our package even included complimentary juice. The service was excellent!
Exceptional stay. Location is superb, within a walking distance from Ueno park and its museums, very near Koishikawa Korakuen garden, Tokyo University, Tokyo Dome and metro stations. The rooms are well-equipped and very neat, with humidiefier/air cleaner and daily room service bringing fresh towels and bath robes. Super nice public bath area. Breakfast is plain okay, but the ice cream in the evening is just gorgeous. The staff is super amicable and nice.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, just a few minutes' walk to Senso-ji Temple. Right across the street, there's a Matsuya, 7-Eleven, a pharmacy, Don Quijote, and Uniqlo. Crucially, there are many subway stations nearby, making it easy to get anywhere. Plus, the hotel next door offers a shuttle bus service to Narita and Haneda Airports, which was a huge relief for us traveling with luggage. Alternatively, you can walk to the subway station and take the airport express.

The air conditioning in the room seemed to have an issue; it was constantly set at 15 degrees Celsius, which was quite cold. I had to wear a thick thermal shirt even in winter. However, I didn't bother asking for help because of the language barrier. The value for money was quite good, though. It's hard to find a triple room for around 1000 yen, including tax. There's a shower, but no bathtub. All the toiletries are provided, and they're decent brands. It's pretty close to Ikebukuro East Exit. After walking around for a few days, I'd actually recommend staying closer to the West Exit!
Excellent Stay with the Sweetest Staff
From the moment we arrived, the check-in was swift and welcoming—truly one of the friendliest hotel teams we’ve met. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though a bit on the smaller side—but that’s to be expected in Japan. The breakfast buffet offers a nice variety, with options that cater to both local and Western tastes. All in all, a great experience and we’d happily stay again.
This Tokyo trip's hotel completely exceeded my expectations. From check-in to check-out, I felt the staff's incredible thoughtfulness throughout, and I definitely have to recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Tokyo!
The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the subway station. From there, you can easily reach popular areas like Ginza and Tokyo Station. There are also convenience stores, izakayas, and unique restaurants nearby, making late-night snacking or shopping incredibly convenient. The most pleasant surprise was how spacious the room felt for a Tokyo hotel. Through the floor-to-ceiling window, you could catch glimpses of the city, and the natural light was excellent. Inside, the amenities were comprehensive – the Simmons mattress was soft and comfortable, washing away all travel fatigue. The double basin design and bathtub with a temperature display were incredibly thoughtful, showing attention to detail everywhere. The room's cleanliness was impeccable; there wasn't a speck of dust in any corner, and the bedding and bathroom supplies had a fresh scent. The complimentary portable WiFi had a stable signal, allowing me to stay connected and navigate easily while out and about.

I stayed at the b akasaka-mitsuke for four nights and had a really pleasant experience overall.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is definitely the location. It is literally only about two minutes from Akasaka-Mitsuke Station, which makes it incredibly convenient. From there, you can easily travel around Tokyo and even get to the airport without much trouble. There is also limousine bus access nearby, which makes airport transfers simple, especially if you have luggage. The area itself is lively, with plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and cafes within walking distance.
The hotel is comfortable and clean, with standard-sized rooms for Tokyo. It is not huge, but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. One thing I really liked was that they offer complimentary donuts in the reception area every evening. It is a small touch, but it feels welcoming after a long day out. In the lobby, they also provide various amenities that you can pick up yourself, along with a water refill station, which is very convenient.
For breakfast, if you did not book it with your stay, you can pay an additional 800 yen at the Excelsior Cafe next door. Personally, I think it is better to just order from the a la carte menu at the cafe if you do not want a big breakfast. It gives you more flexibility and can be cheaper depending on what you choose.
Housekeeping comes daily to take out the trash and replace towels. If you would like a full room cleaning, you just need to request it. The staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay. They answered many of our questions and were especially helpful when my husband had some packages delivered to the hotel.
Overall, I would recommend the b akasaka-mitsuke, especially for its excellent location and convenient services. It is a great choice if you want easy access to transportation and a comfortable stay in Tokyo.

Free coffee available throughout the day. I loved the coffee.
Free Snacks at 3pm.
Bed was a bit stiff.
Near to Akasaka Station. 15 mins walk to Akasaka-Mitsuke Station.
Nearby lots of restaurants options. I loved the Streamer Coffee and Little Tokyo House cafe nearby.
See image for the entrance to the Lift (outside TBS building) that can bring you up to Hotel’s street level instead of going up the slope / stairs.
The complimentary coffee and water was very helpful.
The location is good, but it's a shame that there are only stairs to the lobby.
I wish they'd at least install a ramp.
