This hotel is located in the heart of Tokyo's Haidian Huangzhuang-Takadanobaba area, surrounded by numerous language schools and cram schools. It's incredibly convenient for daily life: just a three-minute walk to Waseda Station on the Yamanote Line, with a 7-Eleven and a drugstore right downstairs. Across the street, The Box shopping mall offers many affordable and delicious restaurants like Sushiro and Saizeriya. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and the rooms even have a small desk, perfect for students studying for exams. There's also a microwave on the desk, so you can easily heat up a rice ball or bento box bought from the 7-Eleven downstairs. Toiletries can be picked up at the front desk. The slippers provided aren't the disposable paper kind and are very comfortable. Although housekeeping is only done once every 7 days, trash is collected daily. This is a great hotel, and I'll definitely be back!

The breakfast ¥1500 is fantastic, curry sauce with rice and eggs are delicious. Also the 玉子烧 and 味增汤is delicious. The underground station exit 3 is 2-min walk, you can use exit 1 if you carry luggage, which is 3-min walk. 日比谷 Line can take you to 上野公园 and 银座 straight away. 7-11 is just 20 seconds walk if you want to grab anything to eat/drink. The lotion and cleanser as well as shampoo are high quality. Reception staff is very helpful and friendly. Mr 韩 offered good advice when I want to visit nearby pharmacy. You can leave used towel before 10am outside the room door so it can be changed. They provide microwave on 5th and 9th floor. The only problem is the window is not fully sealed so you can feel the wind when sleeping.
The hotel is conveniently located, about a 5-minute walk from the station.
The staff are very friendly, and the hotel feels new overall. However, there were a few minor imperfections in my room, such as a chipped corner of the baseboard.
I stayed in December and used the air conditioner for heating, which worked fine.
Breakfast is served on the 2nd floor, with access by room key via the elevator. The selection is quite good and includes European options. The menu changes slightly, so it does not get boring. There are signs asking guests to return their used trays themselves, so please keep that in mind.
Regarding the signs, I was surprised that in this hotel you need to specifically request room cleaning at the reception. I have stayed in many hotels where the door sign has two sides, “Do Not Disturb” and “Please Clean the Room”. Here, the sign had only one side, “Do Not Disturb”. I think this is something the hotel could improve, as it is not very convenient to ask for room cleaning separately.
It would also be helpful to add more English translations. For example, all the buttons on the TV remote control are labeled only in Japanese, and the notice on the slippers saying “please do not take them home” is also only in Japanese. I can understand some Japanese, but for other foreign guests this may be confusing.

Getting to the hotel from Haneda Airport is very convenient; you can take an airport limousine bus directly to the Asakusa View Hotel. From there, it's just a short walk past the Life supermarket and two traffic lights. The hotel features a communal kitchen on the 4th floor and complimentary self-service drinks on the ground floor. Overall, for its price point in Tokyo, the hotel offers good value. The only minor inconvenience is the access to subway and JR lines; otherwise, everything is great.
