Tongren Siyuan Hotel

Location: Excellent proximity to Tongren Railway Station and Bus Station , with nearby bus stops to Mount Fanjing and tourist attractions.(based on 16 reviews)

It's fine. Right by the train and bus stations. Difficult to find - someone else on the reviews posted a photo of the entranceway. It's the building right at the over bridge for pedestrians, but you have to go round the left side and go in the doorway marked with a 6 then take the elevator to floor 19.

Room Booked for a single bed no window but got a double with window so that was nice. pretty standard. lock on door for security. Hosting Great. I think they saw me wandering about and figured I was looking for their hotel haha. Gave me guidance on how to get to fanjingshan. It seems to be run by a nice family. bit of a language barrier but you can communicate over translate - hotels ask for more details than hostels so if you don't speak chinese you should prepare your name, nationality, phone number, previous city etc. with chinese labels beforehand to make the process smoother Location Walking distance from train station. You can walk into the central town but there is a nearby bus stop too (although all the buses I went on were crammed). Also walking distance to the tourist centre bus stop to other cities. Has shops below. I think I might have struggled a bit to find it if they hadn't seen me. quite a nice view of the surrounding buildings and their lights A bit grubby around the edges e.g. the toilet hadn't been cleaned and it was very close to the shower, but it is so cheap you can't really complain More hostel vibes than hotel
