Chuan Shang Yu Nan Cheng Bie Yuan Homestay (Tongren Ancient City Branch)

Facilities: The facilities are pretty good, but some things aren't very practical, like the lighting being too dim and the light switches not being well-placed. Environment: The design is beautiful; the old house renovation is very tastefully done. The room style is minimalist yet well-designed. Cleanliness: There were some cleanliness issues; the blanket had some stains. Service: The housekeeper contacted us in advance and recommended some good local restaurants. However, they might be short-staffed as the front desk was often unattended. One issue was that the room was very large, but there was heavy rain that night, and the toilet leaked. It's an old house, so it's understandable, but it still needs to be repaired promptly.

I was traveling here and I'm really happy I booked this guesthouse. As soon as I walked in, it felt very traditional and elegant. The staff were also super enthusiastic and helped me find some great local food spots. If I come back again, I'll definitely recommend it to my friends.

Service: Fantastic! 👍 They turned on the AC for us in advance, so it was nice and warm as soon as we entered.

The room had a unique charm, with a lovely old-world feel, and it offered a peaceful retreat despite being centrally located. The nights were incredibly quiet, with absolutely no noise disturbance. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance.
