Wuzhen Club House

The ventilation was poor, but the air conditioning was strong. The room was small with no desk, just a tiny vanity. The soundproofing was decent, so it was quiet. At the restaurant, there were flies on two dishes, and not a single server came to apologize or offer comfort. The shrimp that had flies on it was thrown away and not replaced. When you're on vacation, you just want to relax, so I didn't want to make a fuss, but I'm still not happy about it. I won't be returning in the future. The intern's service was excellent, but honestly, there's nothing else worth mentioning. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Side note: The restaurant closes between lunch and dinner, so there's nowhere to relax and have a drink; you have to go out and find a place yourself.

The hotel's service was excellent. The staff were patient and professional, and they even recommended and introduced the features and performances of the Xizha Scenic Area. The room was clean and tidy, with almost no noise. The hotel is located in the middle of the scenic area, making it very convenient to get to all the attractions.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the heart of Xizha, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. The rooms are spacious and very clean, with lovely green views right outside the window, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustling area. What truly stands out is the attentive and comprehensive service. Before check-in, we were added to a concierge group chat that provided details on parking and park entry. On the day of arrival, the concierge even waited for us at the Wuzhen parking lot. Throughout our stay, they offered restaurant booking services (including arranging waterside seating) and recommended various activities – truly exceptional service. The hotel breakfast offers a selection of fixed set menus, or you can opt for a local dim sum experience in town. We tried both. Honestly, the hotel breakfast (pictured in figures 2 & 3) was quite good and didn't require any waiting. The dim sum offered more variety, but some of the popular stalls had quite long queues.

Very quiet, convenient location, easy to step out and wander around anytime. Wuzhen Shengtin Inn is tucked away in the ancient alleys of Xizha, a century-old courtyard exuding timeless charm. The butler service is attentive, and you can enjoy the slow pace of Jiangnan life right by the water.

The hotel is right in the heart of the scenic area, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The staff were very attentive and the hotel's ambiance and rooms were my favorite. I had a super comfortable three-day, two-night stay and would definitely recommend it to friends.

The room was spacious, and the building had an antique charm. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was quite unique. Guests staying here can even catch the morning tea rush. Plus, there's a butler to help plan your entire stay, which is very convenient. The scenery is also beautiful.

The service was excellent, and the check-in and check-out processes were seamless. The location is superb, and the accommodation has a lovely garden style.

The hotel itself is a historic building, meticulously maintained, and perfectly aligned with the Wuzhen culture. It's a joy to explore, and while I couldn't post photos with people in them, it's truly beautiful! The staff were confident and natural in their descriptions when asked questions. The hotel's restaurant is excellent, with delicious food. The included breakfast is portioned per person, but very generous, saving you the hassle of choosing. I have three minor suggestions, which can be disregarded if not appropriate: 1. The shower pressure in my room was a bit low. 2. Given the hotel's excellent location, a 2 PM checkout would be perfect. I imagine many guests coming for a night tour of Wuzhen wouldn't check in so early. 3. The queue for the sculling boat was incredibly long (during a non-weekend in summer). Although it was included in the hotel package, I ended up skipping it. I would have preferred to tour the hotel's grand mansion instead. If the hotel could arrange someone to lead a guided tour and explain its history, I can't imagine how much more valuable that would be.

We decided to stay two nights inside Wuzhen. We looked at Wuzhen Homestay, Zhensui Hotel, and Shengting Hotel. The others were definitely over budget, so we chose Shengting in the end, which was also the most expensive of the three. Due to Wuzhen's basic infrastructure, the room conditions certainly can't compare to a 1000+ RMB hotel outside, but they were still very good. The hotel has a garden-style layout and no waterfront rooms. A day before check-in, a butler will contact you, and on the day of arrival, the butler will meet you at the scenic area entrance and assist you all the way to your room. The location is also excellent. Wuzhen is essentially just a river with banks, and Shengting is basically in the middle. You step right out onto the main street, making it very convenient for exploring and dining. Breakfast is a set menu with 3 options, all delicious and exquisite. You can also exchange it for the 'early morning tea' experience, depending on your preference. I think eating at the hotel is great, as the 'early morning tea' environment isn't very comfortable this season. Finally, a suggestion: could you please replace the TV? I won't mention other room facilities, but a new TV would be nice. After a long day, it would be great to cast content to the screen and watch what you want. Lastly, Wuzhen is actually pretty good, and it's worth a visit if you haven't been before.
