The rooms are very clean and well-equipped. The two beds are in separate rooms, ensuring a peaceful night's rest without disturbing each other. After exploring the ancient town in the evening, you can grab a book and leisurely read. We were treated to a complimentary Anhui cuisine dinner, which was absolutely delicious. The breakfast buffet was also extensive. The scenic area's shuttle buses run 24 hours a day, allowing for unlimited rides and multiple entries and exits to the park, though you probably won't need to leave as there's plenty to see within the ancient town itself. Overall, the slow-paced, waterside town experience was excellent!

My mom and I stayed at Zhao Ming Shu She for one night during Typhoon Bavi in July 2025. Zhao Ming Shu She is definitely a highlight of the trip! There are three highlights of this hotel - location (it’s in the center of the park), really nice rooms (better than photos online, super authentic but modern as well), and the hotel breakfast buffet (the lamb noodle and the dim sum buns and shumai). The free shuttle service within the park was also really helpful. I took the shuttle five or six times in total. And make sure you use the free luggage-to-room service - it’s a real pain if you have to drag your suitcase on the rugged Xi Zha street. I’d totally come back here again.
