This is genuinely the best hotel I've ever booked. It included two scenic area tickets, so no need to buy them separately, and a choice of either lunch or dinner, plus complimentary morning tea. Everything was truly high-quality. The location is excellent – not damp and very spacious. I stayed in a standard room, which was divided into two sub-rooms, 'A' and 'B', each accessible by card, plus a small lounge area. The environment was superb. The hygiene was excellent, and the facilities were comprehensive; every detail was thought of, which was very thoughtful – truly befitting an international ancient town. Every staff member was wonderfully polite, enthusiastic, and attentive; it was clear they were well-trained. Staying inside the scenic area made it very convenient for exploring and dining. Both sides of the river featured small handicraft workshops, characteristic of a thousand-year-old ancient town. The unified management of the scenic area was exceptionally good, and there were shuttle buses just outside, which was very convenient. It was very quiet for sleeping, yet on the other side, there was a bar street, so you could enjoy both peace and activity. This place offers incredible value for money. I'll definitely come back with my kids next time to take our time exploring and dining. I highly recommend it to everyone!

The facilities are complete, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The room type is quite unique, offering a different kind of experience. Overall, I am very satisfied.

An unforgettable stay with exceptional service! Check-in within the scenic area was fast and efficient, and a shuttle e-cart brought us right to the hotel entrance. Our room was wonderfully spacious, and every staff member we met was friendly. The real highlight was a special birthday surprise for my husband. The receptionist insisted on walking us to our room—we originally thought she was just being polite, but when she took our key and opened the door into the dark room, my husband noticed it was filled with balloons! It was such a delightful surprise for both of us, and she warmly wished him a happy birthday. On our check-out day, the same lovely staff member went above and beyond by giving us great transportation advice for our trip back to Shanghai. It's a shame we forgot to ask for her name, but we are so grateful for her hospitality and hard work. We can't recommend this place enough!

This hotel is quite good for Wuzhen. The location is excellent, making it convenient to go anywhere. It has a very scholarly and refined atmosphere. The facilities and cleanliness are also good. During the National Day holiday, the service was subpar, almost nonexistent, as if they assumed all guests had been there before. There was no proactive contact or reminders. However, in addition to two entrance tickets, they also provided a complimentary double dinner, which was a nice touch. The value for money was definitely worth it. The twin room type was unique, a suite with two single rooms, offering better privacy. The air conditioning and soundproofing were also impeccable. There was direct drinking water, but no complimentary welcome fruits or drinks, nor any farewell gifts. The disposable comb was wooden, which looked quite premium.

The standard room consists of two separate spaces, offering great privacy. The antique wooden beds are elegant, and the mattresses are very comfortable for a restful sleep, perfectly matching the ancient town's aesthetic. In terms of facilities, it would be great to have a laundry room with dryers. Because of the rain, we skipped the local morning tea experience and opted for breakfast at the hotel. There was a wide variety of delicious food, including the scholar mutton noodles, which came with a very generous portion of mutton. Everything was great except for the slightly high price.

Excellent, absolutely excellent! I brought my family of 8, including seniors and children. I chose Zhaoming Shushe because I loved that each room had its own separate partition, which made arranging everyone much easier. I'm so glad I did; we were all very satisfied. The hotel's location is fantastic, right next to Zhaoming Academy, and all the good eats are nearby, like the must-try Shusheng Noodle House and Jinji. The service was also top-notch. Even before check-in, I had many questions for the front desk, and they answered all of them patiently. After we checked in, they helped us with various things like luggage transfer and booking our morning tea, saving us a lot of hassle. The rooms were clean and quite spacious. The only minor downside was that the middle rooms didn't have windows and felt a bit stuffy, but everything else was great. The hotel breakfast was also good, with a variety of homemade pastries and delicious lamb noodles. It was a wonderful experience overall! We'll definitely choose to stay here again next time we visit Wuzhen.

The hotel's breakfast also offered a good variety of options. Overall, it was a satisfying stay. Another thing to mention is how quiet the hotel is at night. Early in the morning, Xizha (the scenic area) has very few tourists, which was really pleasant.

It was super convenient for visiting attractions; we'd just come back to rest when we were tired.
