Check-in was easy. Room was clean and tidy.Check-out was easy. All staff were super friendly except for one elderly lady at reception desk who made me feel like I owed her something.

This hotel is only royal hotel in Exmouth perfect location near escaplande it has it ownn private garden for drinks and relaxation
It you like to stay in back dated themed hotel staff is very friendly my stay was good value for money

Room was clean and in good condition, although dated in todays terms, but had everything I needed for an overnight stay. Free parking outside hotel but can book for private parking if happy to pay a surcharge. I had sea views and only 2 minutes walk to beach.
Breakfast was excellent and all staff helpful and polite. Very happy for a budget conscious stay.

Had a issue with room stunk of stale smoke and had a dripping tap which was annoying location good and staff friendly but room was terrible

Had a good stay at the royal beacon Hotel
The only thing that spoilt it was the key card
to our room failed 3 times as we were on the
3rd floor had to go to reception every time to

The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room comfortable, but the best thing about our stay was the sea view, absolutely wonderful. Located on a quiet street in an elevated position only a few minutes walk into town or to the beach. Ok so the decor was a bit tired, we'd still happily stay again.
