The hotel is fairly remarkable, and photogenic. I'm not sure when it was built but it has a unique Alpine-Moorish quality about it...that I don't think I've ever seen before. The room I stayed in was (I wouldn't say airy, but...) fairly large, with high ceilings and a decent-sized bathroom. Mi Solar's staff was gracious enough, I suppose, though only a couple people spoke fluent English. I had a major problem with the low-flow toilet on the first night I stayed, but a couple of the staff fixed it the next day. My only big problem with the hotel was the noise, unfortunately; there is a thoroughfare right next door so that sleeping in in the morning or taking a siesta is not an option. I did not try the hotel's bar/restaurant, which is just across the street to the west.

Quiero compartir una experiencia extremadamente negativa que tuve en el Hotel Mi Solar en Uruapan, Michoacán. Durante mi estancia en este hotel, mi SUV Ford Edge sufrió daños significativos en el parachoques trasero izquierdo mientras estaba estacionado en uno de sus estacionamientos privados y cerrados. Esto ocurrió la noche del 17 de mayo de 2024 o la mañana del 18 de mayo de 2024. Al informar al hotel, me encontré con una respuesta completamente inaceptable. El hotel se negó a proporcionarme las grabaciones de las cámaras de seguridad y la información de otros clientes que podrían haber estado involucrados, citando regulaciones de privacidad y protección de datos. Esta negativa a cooperar no solo es frustrante, sino que también demuestra una total falta de responsabilidad y transparencia. El hotel claramente está más interesado en proteger a los responsables de los daños que en ayudar a sus propios clientes. ¡Esto es una completa falta de respeto y consideración! Si valoras tu seguridad y la de tus pertenencias, te insto a que evites este hotel a toda costa. Voy a denunciar públicamente esta situación en todas las plataformas posibles y tomaré las acciones legales necesarias para asegurarme de que se haga justicia. Comparte este mensaje para que otros viajeros estén advertidos y no tengan que pasar por la misma experiencia terrible. Atentamente,

Habitación y baño limpio servicio de lavandería excelente así como sus instalaciones y personal muy atento a lo que se solicitaba así mismo al momento de la limpieza de la habitación encantadora vista su ventana al momento de abrir la cortinas precioso paisaje excelente ubicación sin dejar de lado lo maravilloso de sus paisajes de uruapan y lo rico que se come.

El hotel es muy bonito y limpio. Nuestra habitación tenia un escalón al abrir la puerta. El joven de recepción no nos advirtió, llegamos de noche con la suite totalmente oscura, ni uba luz de cortesía. Sufrí una terrible caída de la cual no me be recuperado. Todo se podria ha er evitado con unas palabras por parte de recepción. Muy pero muy mal!

Pésimo... Venimos de fin de semana y disfrutar un poco el Domingo en su terraza, pero al parecer cuando tienen evento "privado" en una alberca que tendría que ser servicio de los huéspedes la cancelan dueabge y después de su "evento" para dar "mantenimiento", jamás en ningún hotel priorizan sus eventos PRIVADOS sobre la comodidad de los huéspedes
