Meadowvale Apartment Hotel

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY AND THE OWNER! My family and I stayed here for three nights in June and it was the absolute WORST experience. To summarize: 1. The property was dirty with hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor, there was dried up toothpaste on the vanity and towel rack, and the pillow cases in the main bedroom smelled like the previous tenant’s hair/scalp. It smelled completely different to the bed sheet. On top of all this, the owner had some plumbing work done before AND during our stay to fix toilets that wouldn’t flush properly (both of the toilets in the unit didn’t flush), and did not clean up any of the debris left from the job. It was the most disgusting sight to return to after a day out. 2. The A/C unit didn’t work during our three summer nights’ stay, and no window would open. Needless to stay, we couldn’t even eat breakfast in the unit as by 9am, the heat built up indoor was unbearable. What made it worse was that they knew the A/C wasn’t working in our unit before we checked in. 3. The unit was not equipped for tenants in so many ways. For example, the washing machine was not connected to water and we had maintenance in the unit at 10pm trying to sort out the problem. We are a family of four but were given two of everything. There was a kitchen but it was not stocked with anything, but a pan in terrible condition. I wondered what they expected anyone to do with a beat up pan and no cooking oil, condiments, cleaning sponge or detergent. It was an extremely inconvenient stay. 4. The owner was insincere and deceitful. We had communicated multiple times during our stay (because there simply were sooo many issues), while he did always pick up our calls and apologize, nothing was resolved without causing us more inconvenience or it just couldn’t be resolved. He asked us to please not leave a review and that he would refund one night’s stay in compensation (he knew the stay was BAD), but we NEVER received it. When we contacted Trip.com, they told us that the owner would not pick up their call or return their calls/emails. Even thought this place is newly refurbished and cheaper than most properties of similar size, the money you save is NOT WORTH the inconvenience, the discomfort and the constant trouble. The owner was asking for grace given that they are new, but you cannot use your tenants as guinea pigs while you sort out your kinks. Open when you are ready to provide the service your tenants deserve. And don’t promise compensation when you were never prepared to give it. You have lost all credibility and integrity and it is reflected in the business you run.

Big space and clean，but checkin instruction not clear. Got the fob from the convenient store beside.

The cleanliness at this property needs improvement. The maintenance at this property also needs improvement. The only thing I can say that is positive about this place is that the two workers( Nevi and Stephanie) I spoke with tried to handle the issues at this property and to help resolve the problem with the Unit. There was also plenty of parking.

This experience was horrible check in was at 3pm which was ok, the office wasn’t open until then, however someone was kind enough to let us in. Which was perfect until we walked in. The place reeked of cigarette smoke. The unit down to the sheets and the bathroom was dirty. My family and I had to go get cleaning supplies to wash the sheets and clean the entire place. In which stop us from traveling and enjoying our vacation time. It literally took all day to wash the sheets and comforter in each room. By the way we rented a 3 bathroom 2 bath unit. Very disappointed.

Unfortunately our stay fell well below expectations, with unvacuumed floors and hairs in what should have been clean bed sheets, which I had to wash myself the next morning. We were in town for a competition and needed a bath for recovery, but there was no bath plug, and even after finding one the tap was loose (have video showing the loose tap )and hot water cycled to ice cold, taking about 40 minutes to fill the tub. The kitchen was also missing basic items including a toaster, broom/dust pan and garbage bin, and previous reviews mention missing plates and cutlery, suggesting ongoing issues. Check-in required multiple emails and calls before we received access instructions. I contacted the property after our stay and Travelocity also attempted to reach them, but after more than a week there has been no response; based on this I would not stay here again or recommend it, though if they do respond and address these concerns I would be open to updating this review

Heat was absent in bedroom, had to move mattress, close door and sleep in living room. Walls and windows were in rough shape and the draft of cool air was terrible, insulation was nonexistent around windows. Floors were filthy and full of crumbs. Kitchen was not properly equipped. I had to buy utensils, kitchen knife, paper towels, dishwasher soap, dish soap etc… microwave was dirty (didn’t use it) kettle worked, stove was fine, the two pots in the kitchen were fine. Parking was easy. Mattress was comfortable.

Kitchen is empty, bring your supplies including toaster or air fryer, pots and pans, dishes ans toilet paper.

The room was not cleaned, the toilet was NASTY it had VOMIT, the bathtub had VOMIT, hair all around the tub floor was dusty, floor needs to mop, no soap, the had used soap, it was 4 adults 2 towels,NO HOT WATER in the middle of a snow storm. The place was beautiful spacious for the accommodations , BUT WAS VERY NASTY
